Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

Italy-
A beautiful ship near the historical centre of Stockholm. Small room (it's a cabin on a ship so it's obvious) but good for one or two people. A third bed available for a child. Private bathroom with shower. Nice common room with tables, sofa and TV available with a beautiful view on the municipal building on the other side of the fiord. Good and various food for breakfast buffet (120 Kr). The personnel clean the room everyday and change the towel if necessary. The restaurant was available but I didn't eat there.

BelgiumThe room had a little heater but not enough to break the cold in the room. It was freezing. There was an extern heater but that didn’t work. I had to ask for another one and that was not a problem. The window let to much light inside so it was hard to fel asleep with the light at night outside. People went out for a smoke and I could hear them talking. Even if the personnel put the garbage outside, they rolled the little containers of the stairs. The sanitary facilities were not like they subscribed; They mensionned that there was a bathroom to share with one other room. I had to share it with more than one other room. The toilet was dirty, the shower was to small for me. Also the room was not very good sealed from the corridor.
Location is just out of the centre. For me that was good.

GermanyA great hotel with a good location (near metro station Gamla Stan). The view from the window is right to the sea. On the other side, across the see, there's an old town. Personal is kind. The rooms are clean, warm. Bathrooms are with a hot water, kitchen is very spacious. I recommend this one, price/quality ratio👍

ItalyNothing. Everything very good.
Very friendly staff. Extremely welcoming and flexible in everything. The kitchen that is free to use is a bonus as well as the delicious breakfast. It is nice to stay on a boat and the views across the bay towards the city are lovely. One can sit also outside for self-cooked meals and enjoy the view. The metro is very close by as well as the old city. Also there is a nice trail behind the hotel that brings you high up on a cliff from where you can see the entire city.

United KingdomLocation is a bit out of the way and the boat could do with a clean externally
We booked "The Suite" and was overwhelmed with how good it was. The Suite is on a seprate boat just a few metres away but is a very high standard. Big room and bathroom, amazing views and generally a really nice feel to it with complimentary drinks and snacks The main boat where reception is , is very cosy and welcoming. The staff cant do enough to help and the Thai restaurant is really good. Boat felt even more welcoming with Christmas decorations and breakfast was a reasonable price with a good choice. Really glad we visited Rygerfjord and we would go back again. THANK YOU!

FinlandThe more expensive room we took was very small. We were expecting it to be small but not as small as it was! It was okay for our needs to stay just for a night. Also one minus was when we tried calling them in went to voicemail and everything was in Swedish! Maybe it could be good idea to have the voicemail in English :)
Loved the receptionist, location and just very comfy bed to sleep at for one night. Nice clean bathroom.

PolandThis was my second stay at Rygjerfjord Hotel, and once again, it exceeded my expectations! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The breakfast is varied and absolutely delicious, with plenty of options to suit every taste. My room was spacious, clean, and offered a stunning view that made my stay even more special. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back again in the future!

IrelandThe bed was tipped/slanted and not the most comfy/generous for 2 and the pillow was basically non-existent (I asked and received another after a miserable night on the first one 👍🏽). Also we were right next to the toilet + stairs so it was very loud/unexpected noises sometimes at night. Also had no way of letting fresh air into the room (window was a sealed porthole with a crack) and the view was looking put under the jetty 🫥 (that said my partner spend a few nights on their other boat before I arrived out and his first cabin was sublime apparently so luck of the draw I guess).
Location was great and was stoked to stay on a boat. Staff were all so lovely and the whole place was clean and good facilities.

RomaniaWe expected the room to be small, given the pictures and the fact that it’s on a boat. However, the room was not clean; it had an unpleasant smell, like sweaty feet, and was dusty. Additionally, the heating didn’t work. On a positive note, the shower was functional, and the cleaning staff emptied the trash daily.
The location was lovely, the staff was friendly.

GermanyToilets were stinking (even the shower!), trash bins were full and there were dust at the sink as if the toilet have not been cleaned in days. At the floor where our room was located, the showers and toilets were almost all out of order (just one shower and one toilet were working).
Good room, very cozy, but for sharing the bedroom with a partner was difficult, since there were two beds (one at the top of the other). Good view of the river! The first boat is veeery nice, with a home and cozy atmosphere.

United KingdomOur toilet stopped working on the first night so after a chat with the kind staff they assured us they'd fix it the next day. When we arrived back the following evening the toilet was gone so we were moved to a room close by which was a bit smaller and ended up with the same issue which was thankfully resolved that day. We also had no hot water and a note for taller travellers, at 6ft4 I couldn't stand up straight in our room.
Staff were very friendly and accommodating throughout our stay. The boat had a nice charm to it and was within walking distance of the Old Town. The lounge was a nice place to relax outside our room.

LithuaniaAs expected on a ship, the rooms are very small (people over 180 cm might find it less than ideal for sleeping), the sound insulation is not great, and during winter, the rooms lack proper ventilation. There are occasional power outages (not the best discovery to make while in the shower), and the staff seems to consider this a normal occurrence, failing to inform guests about it. The ship’s biggest downside, however, is the staff’s approach to handling issues. We were a large group (24 people), and due to a mistake on their part, the hotel allocated us one extra room. They informed us of the mistake only in the evening while we were out in the city.Since they had overbooked, the hotel staff didn’t attempt to find a better solution to the problem and simply asked us to vacate one of our rooms. As we were out, the hotel didn’t wait for us to return but instead requested permission to move our belongings out of one room. Mistakes happen, but in the hospitality industry, they are rarely resolved in such a manner – essentially evicting a guest from their room.
The ship offers excellent common areas – a lounge, a restaurant with a bar, and in summer, sitting on the deck is probably quite enjoyable. The breakfast is decent and reasonably priced. Overall, the room prices are reasonable, making this a good choice for a short stay in Stockholm if you’re looking for a budget-friendly option.
