The location in between highway ramps and a gas station is not cozy at all. But we were glad to be right across the street from the shopping mall.

Nice family room, our kids of 9 and 12 loved the bunk bed solution. Nice touch with the free welcome mocktail for kids and a fun kids quiz on the premises. The pool was also a hit!

Coming later might be an issue with eating in the hotel restaurant. The restaurant is open till 9, we came after 8 and the only option suggested was buffet, which was OK but not exactly what we wanted. If you arrive late, check with the reception, if and what kind of dinner you can get or plan to eat outside.

A separate stand for the suitcase would be an advantage, on the free space beside the little bank.

An excellent breakfast buffet with great selection. Generous environment in whole hotel. Pets are welcome (but ask before). Good access by car and a good car park.

There was no shower curtain in the bathroom. The breakfast should be until 11,00 in the weekends and not 10,00

Very friendly and helpful staff, We needed a trolley for our equipment and We got it. Great breakfast, good location as it´s close to the motorway and the big shopping center. We were the most of the time at Tyrolen in Alvesta. It was perfect with the big fan in the room. Great with check out at 12.00!

We wanted hotel room that could accomodate family of 4 people. Scandic Växjö was the perfect hotel for a 1 night stay after long car ride. Room and bed was clean and comfortable and breakfast was also very tasty.

Rooms and building could be renovated.

We biked the Saturday and Sunday around Växjö, it was really nice, but it would have been nice to have a place where to keep the bikes. We kept them in the car instead. Our bikes are quite good and need to be kept inside and in a safe place. Maybe something to improve:)

The free parking and the hotel location was very convenient. Very convenient for a bike trip.

hotel staff needs to instruct their contractors. I woke up from the noise and diesel smell in my room. idiot bus driver who came to deliver/pick up some stuff from the hotel, parked his bus just next to the wall right under my window, and kept running the engine for hours.

Room and so on not so good compare with other Scandic I stay at. To soft bed did feel it was old. No coffe/tea in the room have to purchase a cup of hot water and a tea bag in reception for 25 Sek.??!!

Terrible hotel. There is mold in the bathrooms and spa area. Several ceiling tiles are missing above the swimming pool. In the rooms themselves there is no tea or coffee that costs extra. If you stay several days you will be lucky if you ever have a cleaning lady in your room. At night the noise from the nearby Cikle K gas station is disturbing (loud music and engine noise).

The only positive thing about the hotel is the breakfast and the location.

The first two nights were fine, it was a little bit noisy on Friday evening and on Saturday evening it was terrible in the way the large amount of children where running up and down the corridor creating awful amount of noise. Can’t understand why the responsible adults can’t have kept better control of their behaviour.

The breakfast was fine, the room was clean. Staff was pleasant.

The standard of the hotel was far less than international standards. It is more a hostel for workers than a hotel for tourists. You didn't have any information which will interest tourists, coming for a nice time in Växjö ( no leaflets what to do and what to visit). Tv channels were nothing at all, not even an British or German channel. As I can only use 1 arm and I do and did my whole life everything myself, I discovered that you don't have any thinking about how it would be easier for a handicapped person. E.g. The soap and shampoo bottles in the bathrum. With 1 hand it is about impossible to get some soap or shampoo from the holder. And with the breakfast on the table a salt mill and pepparmill in stead of a normal salt and peppar holder. You should have a normal salt and peppar holder on the table and these mills as exceptions available. A person with 1 arm available can never use a salt or pepparmill. The bed was too soft, so after 3 days sleeping in it, I went home with pain in my back. So, in general, the hotel was far too expensive for what you offer and I would never consider to visit you again.

Breakfast was allright. Personal was friendly.
