Do be aware that you are sharing a room the size of an old prison cell so make sure it's with someone you don't mind being that close with!!..

Really nice design to the building and the layout of the halls/rooms. Staff were really accommodating and helpful.

The automatic doors scared me because I thought it was haunted! 😂

Staying in a refurbished prison is so cool. Staying in cells that still feel like prison cell, while remaining comfortable, is awesome!

Not serviced really close to public transport. Min 15 min walk, but a nice walk.

Great use of old gaol and made for a fun experience. Staff polite, welcoming, helpful. Shower great. We had the breakfast buffet one morning and it was fantastic!

With booking through Booking.Com not very clear whether you book Hostel or Hotel. Not the hotels fault.

Prison building very special place to stay. Excellent location. Metro walking distance 10’. Beach in front hotel. Restaurant very good. Extensive buffet breakfast. Dinner very good as well.

Our room, as expected, was tiny, and had single beds. It was a little cold and I did not understand how the old fashioned metal heater worked. There are no shops close by and at night there is no one around when you walk back from the bus or train. But it does feel like a safe area. You do need to walk quite a bit to get there, through parklands and streets, but it was ok.

It was an interesting experience to stay in a prison. The hotel is in a lovely, green area, with river and parkland. Staff were helpful and polite. The hotel was very clean. The room was cute, very small of course. Breakfast buffet was nice, in a lovely room. It was very quiet at night. A really fun experience.

Ordering extras is a little bit complicated, we had no choice to change number of breakfasts due to early check out I do not know how many people arrive with their own bed sheets. Maybe it could be included in the price for the room, not as an extra

It’s located in a nice area, near the water and natural reserve. The setting is excellent and breakfast delicious and abundant. Close to Hornstull station where airport buses stop.

No kettle in the room to make coffee although there was one in the shared kitchen bit of a walk from room

window was hard to access if you are older. I used my cane to open and shut.

room was well fitted, with club chair, desk and chair and smaller TV, a short taxi or Uber ride from train station, lovely park like setting with swimming. Because it is a former prison, doors and walls are thick so very quiet. I got my days mixed up and didn't get my things packed up; I was supposed to move to another room because I booked late. Staff left things in room and arranged for me to stay there that night. Because the hostel is also a hotel has exceptional dinning room. A bit pricey for a hostel but great food. They do have sandwiches etc available in frig a reception. There is a reading room space if you wish to hang out someplace rather than your room or the bar. I am looking forward to going back

The place was amazing for a hostel and it had hotel quality dining. Outdoor activities looked great though I was not there long enough to use. When I told a couple of Swedes about staying there, one had stayed there and loved it, the other recommended the dining room; very quiet, thick walls

Lovely quiet location, only 10 minutes walk from metro and bus stops. Novel accommodation in former prison. Room was small but very well equipped - everything needed was there. Staff were great. Breakfast buffet was excellent value. Guest kitchen very well equipped and very clean.

The price was quite high for what was included in our reservation. Over 200€/night for a small room with bunk beds and no food included was a bit overpriced.

The scenery is really pretty, and the staff was quite friendly and efficient. The room was clean and easy to find.

Had a very pleasant stay. Location is beautiful, but far from city centre (but close enough to Public Transport). Staff was very helpfull, could check in a bit earlier & used the cheap laundry service. Breakfast was plenty but not to my taste.

The rooms are so small so I'd not recommend for longer stay. You pay money for bed sheets and towels so be prepared.

It was really interesting experience to stay in jail-turned-to-hotel. I'd recommend to everyone to stay here if you are in Stockholm for a couple of days.
