Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustriaGiven the price (mid-range) and the location (hip Joo Chiat Rd), this was quite disappointing compared to similar places I've stayed in the area. The room seemed a bit neglected and unloved (although at least the bedsheets were clean and fresh). The walls are paper-thin, so I heard all kinds of conversations, foot-stomps, and alarm clocks from around the corridor.
In contrast to the room, the bathroom was well-maintained, up-to-date, and very clean. Great shower, and the filtered water tap was a nice touch.

SingaporeThe bed is not comfortable at all, if guess fight, talk loud on the phone or are having some fun, everything is shared. Very noisy, and many bars around so noisy drunk people happen in this hotel. Not my first time there, but probably my worst experience overall in SG. 100S$+ per night is definitely overpriced
The location is nice, many cafes and restaurants, and I appreciated the water filter. Staff is friendly globally, and overall clean.

AustraliaSome rooms have no windows, which wasnt clear from the pictures. Overal price was too high for the standard of the hotel which is old and in need of upkeep.
The lady behind the desk was friendly and helped out when the first room had no working aircon.

IndonesiaThe location is okay-ish, but there are a few drawbacks. Breakfast isn’t provided, and while the street itself is generally quiet, the hotel is directly across from a nightclub, with several others nearby. As a result, the street can become noisy and feel a bit uncomfortable late at night.
There's a vending machine in front of the hotel, the room is fairly clean. there's a food place within 10 minutes walking distance, the bus stop is also within 10 minutes walk. the concierge is stern but nice. We accidentally lost our key, and the concierge is fairly nice when we ask for a replacement.

Canada**Health Hazard Alert - Stay Away!** I almost never take the time to leave bad reviews, but this place is a serious health hazard, and I feel obligated to warn others. **Lobby:** The lobby reeked of mold from the moment we stepped in. That should have been the first red flag. **My Room:** I got a room on one floor, and my friend got another on a different floor. Both were equally horrific. My bathroom smelled like urine that hadn't been cleaned in months. The duvet cover reeked as if it had been left in a washer for days—musty and foul. The worst part? The AC was covered in mold. I turned it off immediately, but it was too late. I left with my eyes itching, my nose running, and a headache from the spores floating around. This isn't just gross—it's a serious health risk. The overall stench in the room was unbearable, and to top it all off, you could hear everything happening in the corridor. The locks on the doors were a joke—just a flimsy doorknob with a key. **My Friend's Room:** On another floor, my friend faced a different nightmare. They were genuinely afraid the ceiling was going to collapse on them. There was mold on the AC, a nauseating acrid smell, and water stains covered the ceiling. It was so bad that they abandoned the room entirely and spent the entire night walking outside. Final Verdict: This place should be condemned. It’s not just dirty—it’s dangerous. The management clearly doesn’t care about the safety or well-being of their guests. If you value your health and safety, do not, under any circumstances, stay here. I’m genuinely shocked this place is still operating. Stay far away.

United KingdomThe Room was hot tiny and cramped, we were upgraded to a room with a window on checking in , the view being the inside of closed shutters, and no ventilation. The air conditioning was ineffective. No shower curtain on the bath shower , therefore the floor got very wet when showering. The room did not resemble any of the photos advertised when I booked on booking.com. Very disappointed. Checked out same day checked in property did not offer a refund for the second night , nor responded to the email I sent them
They had umbrellas in the lobby if needed and reception would book a taxi if required

ThailandSuch a convenient location with a very budget rate. You get a proper clean room, bed, fridge, private bathroom, despite the noise from the corridors as the wall is not soundproof. There are two bus stations nearby with 200 m away by walk to connect with east and circle lines MRT and the closest MRT (Paya Lebar) by walk is about 1.5 km with about 10-15 minutes. There are lots of restaurants, cafes, and convenient stores nearby and along the route, and that could the reason no breakfast options at the hotel. The area is like the Singapore old town, not too crowded, but very convenient. We stayed here for the concert at National Stadium and it is super easy to travel there. You could also get to the downtown just by MRT or bus. Recommend.
