POV (from wife): location superb! asked for two single beds room since i was going with bestie, not available thus we got free upgrade to premier room at premier wing! the bed is comfy, and rooms always clean after daily room service. we sleep well, water heater works well and water pressure reasonable, walking distant to CHIJMES and Raffles City shopping malls. Love everything about this hotel, I have stayed here in 2015, after many years decided to revisit, it did not left me disappointed, they have maintain it so well, not run down at all.

The wifi was for the most part great but tended to throw me off when in the lobby an booking taxis, also unfortunate the pool doesnt get the sun for too long.

The whole hotel felt very luxurious, the room was wonderful a great size and very comfortable. Location was good, we got a 5 minute taxi into the Marina Bay area but it is walkable. Right beside Raffles which is good to get a Singapore Sling. The pool was lovely as well however it only got sun for a few hours until lunch time then the sun went behind the hotel.

We booked this hotel for the start of our honeymoon and we are so happy we decided to stay here. We had a stunning view of Singapore from our bedroom window! The room was amazing. It was incredibly clean, modern and spacious. We even had a shower and bath! The staff were great and even let us check in early.

The management tried to palm us off with 3 double rooms by saying that they were fully booked. (A swift request to see the manager duly resulted in this being sorted), even though we had booked 2 doubles and a twin with a cot (as it was brother and sister staying in this room). We had booked these 9 MONTHS prior to our arrival and had a confirmation email confirming this.

Great position, close to raffles, marina bay, singapre flyer, and numerous bars and shopping malls. All you can eat breakfast is to die for. At $41 singapore dollars (£30) per person, it does sound expensive, but there was everything you could wish for (in unlimited quantity).....and in both Asian and English cuisine! As a result, we skipped lunch so it did not work out too bad cost wise at all. Great lobby with numerous seats with a patisserie and coffee bar. This, though, was not cheap with 6 coffees and a fruit juice, + 4 muffins coming to just under £50. Roo s were large and extremely clean with a large comfortable bed.

It’s a very busy hotel and the breakfast buffet is okay but can be better for the price we paid. Staff is not necessarily helpful and service oriented.

Wish they had an option to not change to new towels everyday. It's common in Australia you can choose to replace the towels or not as often as you want to save the washing and environment. Didnt see this as an option at Carlton.

Central location, close to mrt stations, bus stops, bugis and many many shopping centres. The room was very clean. Staff wad friendly and helpful.
