The food in the restaurant was delicious and great value. Location meant an easy walk to Clarke Quay and is across the road from Raffles. The room was large and comfortable with great views to Marina Bay Sands

We did make a request of Concierge for a bottle opener (for a soft drink I had purchased from the shops) and they said they would bring it up to the room - it never arrived We stayed 3 nights and on 2 occasions had to go back and get our access card fixed as it stopped working

The location is excellent and we managed to walk most places, however, taxi services were also readily available at reasonable prices. The room was lovely and spacious and beds were very comfortable Staff were friendly

The room we got only had a shower even though we checked in with a young baby, we expected a family room with a bath tub. We also thought the concierge wasn’t consistent with taxi service. Occasionally we would get a premium taxi, which cost a lot more for a short journey.

Location was perfect. Easy to walk around, use the metro or just enjoy the local shops and restaurants. The size of the room was good, we still had plenty of space even with a cot placed in there.

Too many staff at breakfast. They get in the way and don't consider keeping out of the way of the guests. They pounce on your plates the second you put your fork down. One tried to take my mug away when I was still drinking! They need to slow down. It makes breakfast stressful. You have to hold onto everything or they take it away. Also, why do the cleaners leave a card in the slot in the room so that all the lights are blazing non stop all day? What a waste of electricity! If these 2 things could be fixed I'd give this hotel 10 out of 10.

Shower and toilet open straight out to the common area was very weird. The coffee/tea station cannot get more basic, a bit disappointing for such an hotel, no tea spoons/coffee plates. Not the cleanest bathroom Tech was average, chromecast didn't work at all.

Room was relatively clean. The space was quite big for an hotel room. Comfortable for 2 people to stay. Hotel kept us topped up with new bottled water each day which was very convenient.

Not much to criticise except that they didn’t provide much in the way of tea/coffee, just a very basic supply. There was no bar but that was hardly an issue given the options to buy your poem in Raffles City or at a bar in Chijmes.

Good modern accommodation. Fantastic location close to restaurants and bars across the road in Chijmes, coffee and food shopping in Raffles Coty, and a short walk to the MRT, in particular City Hall. Also an easy walk to the Civic District. The swimming pool provided a welcome spot to cool down after a day out sightseeing.

I arrived very tired after a long flight and the check on clerk realised this and gave me the keys to a lovely suite. It was my 70th birthday treat!! I will return to Carlton Hotel, lobby was lovely and location very good!
