Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

MalaysiaI would say, you pay what you get. I was very surprised by the reviews, no one was talking about how different the hostel look like compared to the picture shown. Those pictures could be taken when they just started? (Idk) In reality, the hostel was badly maintained. The common area was very small, and can’t accommodate too many people. No cooking, only microwave and hot water but no fridge for you to store your food… I’m staying at the female dorm, that’s no table for you to put your stuff, and no lights on the bed(If you turn on the main lights might going to wake everyone up), the locker was underneath the bed which is very small (there’s no way it can keep big luggage) My bed’s power plug wasn’t working,(please bring your power bank) and the hairdryer was outside of the room, at the walkway. The hairdryer wasn’t powerful enough, I regret didn’t bring mine. (If you have long hair and want to use theirs, good luck!) The requested towel will be charged (not sure how much, I have mine) Toilet was ok, and clean..just a moldy ceiling and some peeling paint. I’m coming for a short working trip, was in a rush so I didn’t take any photos of the room. I want to be as honest as I can. Can’t complain about the money I pay with what I get. But at least showing some honesty with what the hostel exactly looks like was my point. So ppl can mentally and physically prepare for what’s coming.
Receptionist and location. The receptionist was very helpful in giving me the information I need. The location can easily access any public transport.

GermanyI honestly can’t understand all the good reviews. First of all the information on booking is wrong. There is neither breakfast nor any other possibility to cook or to store at the fridge. No real common areas that make you feel welcome and to want to hang around, therefore also impossible to meet other travelers. In the dorms there are double bunk beds (so 2 people sleeping in one bed) which I have never seen before and found a bit strange to be honest. Cleanliness was okay, but really depends on the people that you share the dorm with - unfortunately our bathroom was always flooded with water. But got cleaned everyday. The area of 7 Wonders is Little India, it has nice food places around and you’re in the city center within 15-20 minutes by bus or metro. As a female European solo Traveller however I would not recommend staying in little India, the looks from the locals made me feel highly uncomfortable.
Personnel. The woman an the reception went above and beyond to make the stay as nice as possible. Hidaya was really friendly, I loved to chat with her. Beds are comfortable and curtains give you some privacy. affordable

DenmarkVery cramped space and very few toilets so you have to wait, no social space just a small kitchen and they offer no breakfast. Expensive for what it is but that’s Singapore.
The beds were good.

PolandThe most uncomfortable thing was the fact that room was extremely small and there was almost zero space in the room for the luggage.
The beds had private curtains, bathroom was inside of the room. The most importantly it was pretty clean. The distance to the metro or bus was perfect.

United KingdomThe toilets and showers felt dirty and the floors always wet in the toilets from people using the showers. Staff gave me the wrong room to start with and then when i was out decided to pick all of my stuff up and put it in a basket without my permission.
The pod beds were great and very comfy. The hostel was easy to get to and you were supplied with towels.

IrelandThere is a very bright emergency exit in the dorm above the door which makes it very hard for anyone in top bunks to sleep without a face mask. Beds also quite firm.
Good location in Little India, great food options nearby and walkable to the Gardens by the Bay etc. Check in was very easy. Toilets are cleaned regularly.

PolandThe room was rather small, there are quite a few stairs to climb, not always too comfortable with luggage. There are no common spaces.
The hostel is close to MRT stations. We had a private room, so we didn't have to share it with anyone.

NetherlandsSmall rooms and small lockers. Also for the top bunk you have more light because there is space between the top of je curtains and the roof
The staff was very friendly! You can keep your bags there if you have a late flight, and I could even get an extra shower before I had to get to the airport, even though I had checked out already. Doors lock with a code

PakistanThere were 6 bunk beds in one dormitory but only one washroom/bathroom which was too small and not so cleaned as well. The room was a bit too cramped to even put a luggage bag. Not enough space really. I had the upper bed which was okay for me but, there was a fan right above my bed which I couldn't control or turn off. So, I didn't like how after a shower, that fan was directly facing my bed - couldn't help but shiver through the night.
The shared kitchen space! MRT on a walking distance. People at the reception area.

IrelandThe shared bathroom in the dorm was really smelly. The dorm door wasn’t kept locked and neither was the front door which was quite concerning. They were set up with keypads but didn’t automatically lock when closed.
The staff were very friendly. Beds were super comfortable. It was a quiet hostel which was nice.
