Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomExcellent location for exploring the city with easy metro access, a few minutes walk to the numerous restaurants at Clarke Quay, 10 minute walk to both Chinatown and Raffles Place and 25 minutes to Gardens by the Bay. Very friendly staff, small but functional room overlooking the pool. Basic breakfast menu provided at the cafe next door with additional items available to purchase.

New ZealandIt's a basic window-less room but I accept that for the price and location
the location is superb and the size of room for equivalent price hotels is good. Was nice to have access to a pool.

FranceWe spend 5 days in Singapore to visit this country, this hotel was very well located if you wanna do shopping at Chinatown (10 min walk or bus). The mall nearby is convenient too and the Hotel has a swimming pool at the rooftop (though we didn't have time to use it)

BulgariaWe hated the renovation noise during the whole 2 nights that we were accommodated in the hotel. After 14 hour flight from the other part of the world with 2 small children, this was not the best experience. Several men were working in the corridor of our floor constantly during night time causing a great noise. The second night they worked exactly in front of the room so basically kids were shouting and waking up constantly. I have no idea how they are made to work during night and cause such a noise to all the people. It was a horrible experience and even though I overall liked the place I would choose another option the next time. The room had a window but it would not open. This is not necessarily negative, just have it in mind.
-Location was great near Clark quay, Chinatown, there were small shops and multiple restaurants nearby, also a place for a breakfast and coffee within the same building as the hotel which was very convenient - The young woman at the reception was very helpful -the boys that were helping with the luggage were very helpful too -room was small but very clean - the pool was a great add to our stay. Children loved it.

GreeceNot allowed to check in early. 1.5 hour before my initial time. Too small of the room even for a solo traveller. I hated that there was no separate place to take the shower. I absolutely hated the shower . You took a bath and everything was splashed around , no limits, nothing at all . You were doing bath were you sitting in the WC not even 20 cm distance.
The cleanliness, most of all . Allowed to check out late ,for free additionally supporting the luggage storage for free. Got a free upgrade due to being constant user of booking.

United KingdomNo area other than the pool to spend time outside of room esp when it rains!! - no lounge/cafe area.
Great for an overnight stopover on route - it is budget accommodation but has everything needed for a couple of nights. Room was clean and comfortable - small but fine for us. Pool was nice and relaxing - towels were available although not much space for too many guests but wasn’t a problem during our stay. Staff were friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThe room was a little cramped with not much hanging space, but we knew it would be small. Despite a notice saying towels would only be changed if we put them in the sink, our towels were changed every day which we thought was unnecessary and not environmentally sound.
Excellent location for exploring the city - we walked around Clarke Quay on our first evening and had dinner at Boat Quay. Next day we visited Chinatown and the day after Marina Bay - all within walking distance. On our last day we took the bus to Little India and walked back through Kampong Glam, visiting Raffles Hotel on the way back. It was lovely to have a swim at the hotel after our days out! The hot water machine in the room was magic! Delivered a lovely cup of tea in seconds! All staff were friendly and helpful, especially Amirah and Simon.

New ZealandOverall, the room is decent for a 3 to 4 day stay on budget. There's a mouldy and wet smell whenever I first enter the room, which isn't surprising as the bathroom is the first door on the left. The wet bathroom is something to get used to, but I'd recommend bringing your own wet slippers to use inside.
Ibis Budget Singapore Clarke Quay Hotel is a decent accommodation for a short time stay for a solo traveller. The hotel offered a pool, which was a big plus for me. However, despite indicating that they had a gym, at my point of visit there was no gym in sight. I got a Superior Double room, which is a little more spacious. The bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows for me to use. Despite the reception mentioning they don't offer toothbrushes or shampoo, which was ok with me. They still had it available in the room - but the shampoo & soap were in a dispenser that they refilled. Good location - close-by to Clarke Quay centre, mall & train station. Most places are accessible via train or bus. There are plenty of restaurant options as well. The hotel also offered discounted breakfast with the cafe next door. On my last night, reception was helpful with lending me a measuring scale, which was nice.
