Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SingaporeThe door lock of my room was spoiled. first u thought they will change my room but instead they send someone to fix. For some travellers who has s spoiled door lock is troublesome. Can check the battery before the guest will arrived rather they fix it when the guest come.

GermanyThe room wasn't clean at all. There were crumbles and lumps beside my platform bed. The glas in the bathroom was clearly used and had toothpaste stains. The shower had no curtains and was next to the toilet. It was not worth the 100+ Euro per night I spent.
The location is quite good, you can reach metro by walking shortly. There are also a few restaurants close by. The single room I had was efficiently used and had high ceiling. It was okay for a short stay.

MalaysiaNot sound proof at all. can hear people upstairs stomping. maybe also need to pay attention to scrub the areas under the bathroom sink cuz there was a bit of grime there. but overall other areas actually super clean.
Super clean and comfy :D I also get a complementary cake box set since I checked in on my birthday so that was a pleasant suprise. If your knees are good, and you like walks it is actually a walkable distance ( and there are walkways all the way ) to the flyer and gardens by the bay. Around the area plenty of restaurants. Ma deen is next door and their soup kambing was literally THE BEST. Perfect stay for a touristy experience without an astronomical budget. Would definitey stay here again for our next visit to sg!

AustraliaThe hotel wasn't very well kept. The room/ amenities/ courtyard and surroundings did not look like the photos. The room (132) was dark, dingy and smelt of cigarette. It was right outside the courtyard and I always saw a particular staff outside smoking. I told the manager about it although he insisted it was the guests (and not the staff). As we walked back to our room, that same staff was smoking again and the manager did see it as well. Honesty would be appreciated as I'm sure the manager knows it is the staff. I had asked to swap rooms and they swapped me to Room 130 which is better but not great. Walls/ floors above were very thin and there was a couple fighting upstairs and you could hear everything from the afternoon and even at 5am! It was impossible to sleep. The hotel is old, so don't expect too much.
The location was decent. Close to most places.

Saudi Arabia1. No water bidet in the toilet 🚽 we have to use water bottle to clean ourselves 😓
1. Location (Kampung Glam is the heaven for halal food, near Sultan Mosque, walking distance to nearest subway station, Currency Exchange shop across the hotel road) 2. It’s my husband birthday; the hotel gave us complimentary delicious cupcake with greeting cards for him. Really made his day. Thank you. 3. I love the idea of the room at d loteng area. The architecture of the building too.

SingaporeRoom assigned was right next to a road. We had people walking right past our room (from outside the hotel) at wee hours of morning and late night. Some even smoking right outside our window. Bathroom is a little squeezy with toilet bowl lay out that resembled a budget hotel (once door opens, gonna hit the legs of anyone sitting on the toilet. Bathroom sliding panel actually CAME OFF while my wife was showering and I had to help her put it back up onto the sliding rail. Thank god for tempered glass.
Location was pretty good since it was near good food places a few bars and such. Room was relatively clean, front desk was very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast place nearby as well which is a lifesaver due to the hotel restaurant undergoing renovations.
