This is only 'a didn't like' as we had 2 kids with us and were on the 3rd floor, but that is actually 9 .flights of stairs! We all had a small bag each, but also one huge bag between us (thanks budget airlines 🙄) so getting that bag up 9 flights of stairs was a killer. I'm not sure if there are any family rooms on lower floors but that definitely would have been easier. If we'd all had medium size bags it wouldn't have been too bad. But a single back pack for a normal backpacker would have been fine

The location was amazing, you couldn't get better, the staff were sooo helpful. The room was a great size for the family, we had a lovely view over a street and the rooftops and could even see a glimpse of the castle. The toilets and showers were all immaculate.

It was really hot in the room, especially on a top bunk. Because of that, the fan was turned on all the time, which made it quite noisy.

Location was perfect. Room and bathrooms were clean. Lockers were specious and I really liked the card opening system.

The toilet because sometimes for a woman is a little bit uncomfortable to share with men that you don’t know, but the guys that I shared room with were nice and respectful so it was good.

The rooms are very comfortable and the lockers. Also the chairs, the table and the mirror were perfect for my stay. The staff was really helpful and the location is perfect.

The aircon was great when it was on, but often turned off in the night and was controlled only by the front desk, which was inconvenient when staying on an upper floor.

Fantastic location, very spacious room, I loved that the key for the room was also a key for the locker, which was very spacious and with a couple of shelves to put my stuff in.

The air conditioning in the dorm could have been slightly more efficient (the weather was super hot at the time).

Central location by the river in the historical part of the city. Staff was super friendly and helpful, made me feel at home. Really appreciated the live reception. The dorm was clean and had big convenient lockers. Impressive amount of showers and other washing facilities in the common area, so no need to wait in line for your turn in the morning. Nice and beautifully decorated common areas for hanging out too. Would love to come back for another visit one day.

The only thing to mention is the cleaners were speaking very loudly in the morning (shouting really), which woke me up.

The toilets and bathroom being outside the room was a surprise for me as they were in the shared room space in the other hostels I ve been. As I often visit the bathroom during the night, I felt bad about disturbing others coming in and out of the room.

The best location ever. Right in the city center of beautiful Ljubljana. Everything is just a few steps away from you. Wide variety of cafes, restaurants, museums, shopping, bakery etc. The hostel was clean, quiet, air conditioner in the rooms, safe place.

We were a group of 4 and due to availability couldn't all stay in the same dorm, but this was not a major issue as two of us instead had a private room.

The location of the hostel is perfect and the whole place, in particular the rooms, felt very clean. The guy at the reception also helped us to book a taxi to the airport as we left.

The room lacked places to hang and put your clothes. Example: towels needed to be kept on the door hanger, jackets didn’t have place to be hanged and needed to dry due to rain, etc.

Because there’s no proper kitchen it’s a little less social but I still managed to meet some great people!

Very clean and the rooms are very big! Lockers are also quite large. The bathrooms had a place to keep things dry out of the shower and a towel is included. It’s very central and easy to get to and around from.
