Room had a powerful streetlight right in front of a room window which was without blinds or appropriate curtains so it was almost like having a light on the whole night. On the other hand only one bulb out of six main ones in the room worked. Room was without toiletries except for the soap.

Comfy room, great design, got a free ugrade to a better room, quiet, elegant, tasty breakfast, great staff.

Stay at The Castle was truly a delightful experience. The rooms were tastefully furnished and decorated, providing a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. What made my stay truly memorable was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. They were not only professional but also incredibly friendly and accommodating. Their genuine warmth and willingness to assist with any request made me feel welcome and well taken care of throughout my visit. The breakfast offerings were satisfying and of good quality. From freshly baked pastries to a variety of appetizing dishes, the breakfast provided a pleasant start to the day. In summary, my stay at The Castle was a wonderful experience. The well-furnished rooms, charming corridors, and peaceful surroundings created a pleasant atmosphere. The friendly and attentive staff made me feel valued and ensured my comfort. The only tiny minus is not supplying guests with toiletries, that is something we would expect from such a nice place, but was missing.

Everything! Very welcoming staff, even served us a late dinner after the official working hours. Great stop for a longer trip, and our stop for all the trips in the future, for sure. Location was convenient, close to the highway. Everything looks new and clean.

The property is great. Clean and well looked after, interesting and high quality. BUT…. it’s the staff that make this place what it is. I could not speak highly enough of them. they are brilliant. accommodating, friendly, helpful. multiple times during my stay they went above and beyond to make my stay even better. I ended up extending my stay from 1 to 2 nights! FANTASTIC TEAM!

It would help if rooms (or just some of them) had dark curtains (for us who cannot sleep in bright/sunny rooms). Apart from that everything else was perfect.

We had beautiful time at Dvorec Gregorcic. Both Veselin (chef/receptionist) and Josip (Head Waiter) were very friendly and efficient. The dinner was delicious, and local wine (Laski risling) was perfect companion for our choice of meals.

There were no toiletries such as cotton pads and cuetips in the bathroom. The breakfast was ok, but not as diverse as in other 4 star hotels. But I guess that's understandable since it's a small hotel with less guests and they would otherwise probably waste a lot of food.

The room was really beautiful and we got exactly the one we picked on booking. The staff was really nice and welcoming.

Everything was simply perfect: the location, easy parking, fantastic breakfast, and the beautiful ornament paintings by Julia Karlovšek. Additionally, the team was outstanding! During my stay, I met three team members, and each of them was incredibly nice. Robert, in particular, loves, enjoys, and excels in his job. The izvir Cička wine fountain and the airplane on the hotel roof added an interesting bonus to the experience.

Very calm place, enough of parking places in proximity of the facility, very kind personnel, very good breakfast. Nice clean room. TV with lots of channels and options. There are no cons about this facility. Come and check for yourself.

Really nice place to stay in this part of Slovenia. The food in the restaurant and the hospitality of the staff were amazing. The airplane room on the top of the hotel is really fascinating. Would recommend to everybody.
