The welcoming was a a bit cold at first but soon we could feel the nice atmosphere and felt more comfortable. Also, hot water was scarse but you can understand in such remote place.

Very nice place surrounded by nature with a lot to do for kids and a nice terrace to enjoy a good beer, diner or breakfast. Few minutes away from cable car or nice tracks for hiking in nature. Home made food is yummy (deer goulash) !

We loved everything about this place. Truly.

We booked 2 rooms at Kraljev Hrib for the night before heading out on a big backpacking trip with 3 adults and 4 children/teens. We can't say enough great things about this place -- absolutely lovely hosts, super fun and expansive outdoor spaces, and just a great, playful vibe overall. We wish we could have stayed longer as both the adults and kids loved it. Highly recommended if you are looking for a casual, affordable option near the Kamnik-Savinje Alps trails. We can't thank the hosts enough for their hospitality!

Booking said there was no meal plan, but there sure is option for that. Good cheerful staff, cold beer. Even can recommend some places to see and activities if you have spare time.

Great location. Surrounded by forest and nature. Close to the cable car station, the bus station and the start of hiking paths. Really liked the bathroom - spacy and there are shelves where you can place your staff.

The rooms which we got was very small and cramped, and we were the only people in the property other than some in their caravan. We requested the owner to give us the bigger room, which she did but for an extra cost. Very money minded. when no one else was there for the room should could have given us the room with courtesy. Did not give us a towel saying its all extra, No soap... Horrible experience... and the place was so spooky that my wife did not sleep very well.

Bathroom were very good with Hot water and very clean. thats the only thing we liked. rest all were ok...

The rooms are extremely small, though they were clean. However, they are not suitable for individuals with dust allergies, as the environment may still trigger symptoms. There is no heating in the rooms, which can be uncomfortable in colder weather. Parking is limited because the venue hosts celebrations and parties, resulting in a lack of available spaces and significant noise late into the night. WiFi is around 3Mbps/1Mbps according to speed test. The toilets are shared among 6 to 7 rooms and are not frequently checked and cleaned. Towels were missing.

Did not know it was a hostel . It was advertised as a guest house, and there were no towels. Room was tiny which was ok - but it was very hot with a tiny window - it finally cooled down around midnight . It's not the fault of the property - just happened to be extremely hot when we were there.

The room we stayed in smelled strongly after burnt wood fire, so that our clothes smelled the same the next day. Also the noise insulation of the room needs improvement: you hear literally everything and everyone in the rooms next door and the hallway - or you need a very heavy sleep. Unfortunately, they also had limited options in the kitchen and the water was temporarily not drinkable due to tubing issues.

Nice location in the nature and the rooms have a rustical Charme. There is everything you need and a beautiful terrace.

Convenient location to hiking paths and cable car to Velika Planina, comfortable rooms, showers and clean linen. The host was pleasant and helpful.

Limited space inside in case of bad weather. Rooms are not very well isolated from noise but fortunately everybody played by the rules and was quiet during nighttime.

Cute hostel 300m away from the parking ground for the Velika Planina cable car. Good dinner onsite and correct breakfast outdoors.

Lack of refigerator and posibility of cooking in rooms: coffe or tea. Last strew was about cards information that we must taking off shoes.

Walls are paper thin. Floorboards make sound with every step. I couldt sleep till 1am because the neighbours were really loud. It's kinda annoying when you want to get up at 4am for the sunset.

The room was smaller than it looked in the photos, do not expect much space. There wasn´t any opportunity to prepare own meals. The room was very noisy - you can hear noise from adjacent rooms and the floor in the hallway is very creaking, so if you want to sleep you have to wait for other guests to get into beds. Many campers around the house were noisy (playing guitars, chatting) until approx. 23:00 - for adults it is OK, but for children that need to sleep early it is not good. So for 2 night it was OK, but I cannot imagine ve could stay longer.

Great location close to cable car to Velika Planina. Staff was very friendly. Restaurant was surprisingly good. Our small children enjoyed attractions available (playground, table tennis).
