We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Hungary- too far from the city center - the district is not dangerous but looks odd - the train is very close to the house - the owner (the old man) is very rude so it is better to communicate with the old lady or their daughter - you can pay the tourist tax in cash only

The host was very nice and super helpful, She speaks english well. We stayed only for 1 night, but we visited everything we wanted to. The guesthouse was about 1,5 km from the city center , around 15 minutes walking. We had air conditioner and a mini fridge with freezer in our room which were super useful during those hot summer days :-) the room was nice and clean.

United StatesKarla and her family were exceptionally friendly and helpful to our stay! The accomodations were simple but had everything we needed and were quite clean and comfortable. Tip: download the app for the city bikes, just 1 euro for the week and free rentals for trips of less than 1 hour. (There is a bike station about a ten minute walk from the guesthouse.)

CroatiaThe host was, at first, aggitated, nervous and he yelled at us because of some parking banality. Later he tried to make it up for it, but the first impression stayed with us. Distance from the town center is bigger than 1,2 km.

United StatesOwners were incredibly rude on our arrival. They said something about a sign we never saw and our driver pulled into what was an open gate. There was no way to know one should not enter there and it was the front door of the building. The owners came out screaming about calling the Police and when the man saw the driver’s Bosnian license plate started cursing and calling him names. even in a language I don’t speak I recognized ugly name calling. We quickly tipped our wonderful driver so he could leave and hopefully calm everyone down. But the man continued to curse and yell for at least ten minutes despite our attempts to apologize for using the wrong driveway, and even his wife finally calming and trying to check us in. I’ve never been so rudely received by someone I was trying to pay for their room. Had I not already provided partial payment I would have walked out. The room met my needs but the hospitality clearly did not. I would never stay again.
Convenient location if a bit of a walk to old town. adequate facilities if spare. I knew it was near train tracks and with closed windows the train noise was muted but not with open windows if that would concern you.
