Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

CroatiaBakery products could be fresher. Doughnuts and bagels were very dry and stalled, around eight in the morning. Mattresses didn’t suit us, they were thinner in the middle. So we didn’t get good rest.
Our room was very big and spacious. Breakfast area is cosy and there is good choice of food. Staff is very nice. There is garage.

United KingdomI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Habakuk Hotel, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! From the moment we checked in, the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was perfect. One of the highlights of our visit was undoubtedly the breakfast. Each morning, we were greeted with an extensive selection of delicious, freshly prepared dishes. The variety and quality of the food were outstanding, providing the perfect start to our day. The spa at Habakuk Hotel was another remarkable feature. It was beautifully designed, creating a serene and tranquil atmosphere that was ideal for relaxation. The facilities were top-notch, and the range of treatments offered allowed us to indulge in some much-needed pampering. Overall, our stay at the Habakuk Hotel was a delightful experience. The combination of excellent service, delicious food, and luxurious spa facilities made it a trip to remember. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a high-quality, rejuvenating getaway.

SloveniaGenerally, the hotel is well-maintained, barring a few tiny drawbacks that arise with every renovation (the stunning colour combinations are very delicate). The hotel breakfast meets the expectations of a four-star hotel. We only wished there was more creativity in dish presentation and that the menu included more local cuisine. In modern hotels, there is no room for outdated printed hotel guides. We believe the hotel should promptly digitalise all information and include data about the tourist offer in the hotel surroundings.
The hotel was in dire need of a thorough renovation, both technology-wise (kitchen, restaurant and wellness) and architecture-wise. If you ever stayed at Habakuk Hotel in the past, you will now enter a hotel with a distinctly different character. The architecture, design and quality of materials are premium and could easily be mistaken for a five-star hotel. That is - when guests stay in the renovated rooms. With the new architectural look, the management now has an excellent platform on their hands that they can build on. Still, everything depends on the staff, who should go the extra mile to make the hotel one of Slovenia’s leading. The refurbished hotel heralds good news for local event organisers. Just a few steps away from pristine nature and the diverse offer of Maribor and Pohorje Mountains, Habakuk Hotel seems ideal for incentive groups. Maribor thus has a timely opportunity to reestablish itself as a competitive incentive destination. Finally, the value for money at Hotel Habakuk is good. The prices are lower than in other Slovenian meeting cities. Maribor has a great answer to the rising prices of hotel accommodations elsewhere. We hope it stays that way. The well-equipped wellness and spa centre is one of the greatest advantages. The spacious indoor pool stretches 740 square metres. In this beautifully designed pool, you can relax after a long day. The saunas, easily the best in this part of Slovenia, enrich the offer. Not having to queue for the saunas is another benefit. If possible, opt for the renovated superior rooms. They will amaze you with their spaciousness and unusually colourful interior. The furniture is easy on the eye, gleaming in sky-blue hues and pairing seamlessly with the wooden elements and ornate pink details dominating the corridors.

GermanyThe quality of some of the products served at the breakfast buffet could be improved though. Maybe less is more in this case. The pool or at least parts of it are not heated. The sauna area lacks proper cold showers. The old backside of the hotel which is rarely visible is currently under reconstruction. If this is finished in style then the hotel has 5* potential.
Very nice hotel with a well designed interior concept. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Comfortable rooms with everything included. Couldn't ask for more. Spacious parking garage and luggage service. Breakfast with an overwhelming amount of options. Relaxing lounge and bar area with a good selection of beverages. Great pool area which is suitable for adults, kids and babies alike. The saunas are excellent.

AustriaThe hotel has only been partially renovated, leaving several things unchanged from the old building. And this is not really acceptable, mainly because the prices have been increased quite a lot with respect to before and one would expect to find everything new and well maintained. A few examples: the window fixtures are still old, some of them not working proplerly or not completely sealing; the door to the balcony in our room was not even closing and we had to ask for a technician to fix it to avoid draughts overnight. The room only had 1-2 wall sockets, not located at the bed night tables and not equipped with usb. This is not acceptable in a 4stars hotel which has been newly refurbished. The fitness room is included in the room price, but one must first go to the wellness area (at the ground floor) to let them open the room, then go to the gym (at the first floor). It would be sufficient to let people in with their room card. The pool has been renovated, but not realy in the best way: lots of mini pools have been built, with water jets and bubbles. Problem is that the water coming from the jets is cold, or anyway much colder than the water temperature, therefore they are not comfortable to everyone. Having so many pools means that there is no space to swim and the pool is just made to sprawl out and relax in the water. There are only two water fountains (of which one not working) and no other entertaining equipment in the pool, which again is a bit disappointing. Last but not least, the spa, which is probably the higherst rated feature of the hotel, well made and designed. Only problem is that there is no control over who enters and how: in theory no clothes should be allowed inside, but most people were with swimsuit, which makes it uncomfortable for who instead follows the rules. Also no door is dividing the pool area from the spa entrance, therefore everyone in the pool (kids included) can see whoever is (naked) in the spa.
The hotel has been recently renovated (November 2022). Its location is great, it has a very nice and big hall, with a bar at the ground floor, a spacious restaurant area at the first floor, a fitness area and a pool+spa. The pool is new and can accomodate many people, the spa is very well equipped, with 5 saunas, shower and relax lounge. The staff was friendly and supportive. The breakfast is quite good, with either continental and local selection.

NetherlandsThe shower was absolutely sh*t, very few water coming out and temperatures continue hot and cold, was horrible. Also booked a message and instead of 75 min (as described) it only lasted 60 min.
The location is stunning, I can imagine being there when the hills are full with snow. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable.

GermanyThe TV chanels were not that interesting, the entrance fee for the spa center for our kids (2 and 3 years) was 15 Euros each! For adults was 20 Euros. We were on the last/fourth floor, the the elevator button was broken there so we couldnt call the elevator to come. The other elevator was broken and not functional.
Spatious room with a perfect view, bright room with many big mirrors, automatised curtains, large screen TV with lot of(not so interesting chanels, but adult chanel was unlocked :)), comfortable King-size-bed and extra bed in a small room next to ours, baby bed was on available on request as well. Spa center with polls with warm water and a few saunas were nice. Good breakfast(buffet) and nice bar. Garage was available too. And all of that just 50 meter away from ski lift and a lot of bars/fast food restaurants.

United KingdomUnfortunately, our experience was far below expectations. First, the room lacked basic amenities—there was no bottled water provided, which is unusual for a hotel rated 4 stars. The rooms themselves felt outdated and in need of renovation. What made things worse was the overall atmosphere and service. The hotel staff appeared disengaged and unwelcoming—no smiles or greetings from anyone, which gave the impression of poor customer service. However, the most disruptive aspect of our stay was the unannounced business event hosted on the property—a Multi-Level Marketing (MLM) gathering that went on until around 2:00 AM. We were only informed about it via a small note left at the reception desk. The noise level was unacceptable, making it impossible to sleep. What should have been a professional event felt more like a loud concert, echoing through the premises late into the night. Overall, this stay was not restful, not welcoming, and certainly not reflective of a quality 4-star hotel experience.
We liked the convenient location, the quality of the SPA facilities, and the generous room space.

SloveniaThis was by fare our worst experience with the hotel. When we entered the room, we realised that toilet was not flushed. Second the safe was not working. There was not bathrobes as stated in the hotel web page. Finally we realised that the room was very dusty. Our dog started to sneeze and wife got allergy. The allergy got so bad that we had to shorten our trip, despite being paid for 2 night. We went to see the doctor, who confirmed allergy and prescribed her medication. Also, the hotel is understaffed, at the reception, wellness and especially at the breakfast. At the breakfast was so crowded that we needed to use tables that was in the are a which was closed. So the tables did not utensils. We had to get it on our own. We strongly not recommend this hotel.
