Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IsraelThey dont allow to keep luggage after check out, no place to meet new people, there were more locals than tourists there. And of course no a.c, barley one fan for a huge room.
Good location, very clean, other than that nothing going for it at all.

SpainWe are in the 21st Century. The coments from that member of the Staff, still hurting my ears and my heart.
Well, I knew it was a club in the ground floor. But, why do you put small livingrooms in every floor? People were drinking, and talking loud until really early in the morning. Impossible to sleep. And the worst, was to be seated outside and listen a member of the staff, from Israel, making xenofobic and racist coments about People.

Germany- The bed in the private room has squeaked a lot - Apart from that, the furnishings in the room are rather poor and old (e.g. one of the windows had a crack, there were two chairs next to the bed as bedside tables). - Rooms are very noisy: Because of the old wooden floors, you can hear every movement in all the adjoining rooms - Because of the lack of air conditioning, it also got very warm in the room - The shared bathroom (toilets and showers together in one room) wasn‘t cleaned during the last two days of our stay, which is why all toilets on the third floor ran out of toilet paper and the smell was disgusting. - The kitchen units: While the cooker on the second floor did not work at all, on the third floor the induction cooker only seemed to have two induction-capable pots, the rest was useless.
- central location to the old town of Ljubljana (only short walk by foot)

SpainNo air conditioning in the rooms so be prepared to wake up sweating in the night (if you even sleep at all). It is so extremely loud at night from the music wkd people talking/partying, it was impossible to sleep from all the noise. We knew it was a party hostel when we booked, but we didn’t foresee noise that loud and for THAT long. Literally from 8:00pm-6:00am. The showers had no hooks or stands to place any of your towels or toiletries. The bathroom stalls have awkward large slits in them where anyone can see you on the toilet if they walk by. Overall, not a very comfortable or functional stay.
Staff was friendly and beds were decently comfortable.

LithuaniaThe only drawback in this hostel was the noisy guests, I guess in their twenties, in the kichen, who left a messy table after their pre-party dinner. Being a non-smoker, I sensed a strange smell in the room, as if somebody had been smoking there a while ago.
I did get a good night's sleep! Despite the claims that "sleep is overrated", the room was quiet enough (earplugs come in handy). Furthermore, my neighbour said that the room was extremely spacious, in comparison to other hostels he had been to. A stylish, affordable and comfortable place.

DenmarkIt’s Very VERY noisy, But That’s to be expected with a party hostel. Bathrooms are mixed gender with Very little privacy (if someone wanted to, they could Peek through the Doors) There seemed to be a private event during our one night stay, so actually joining the party wasn’t really possible for our stay :(
The room was clean and comfortable. Nice with the option for double bed, and privat room. Location was Very close to center and train station.

SwedenIt is a party hostel so even if it is kind of quiet during night it is still a bass and other people in the room is walking in and out, fixing for patying and making noise. Just a good remainder before booking but a nice hostel and i would choose it again!
A nice hostel, good room and nice staff. Amazing if you like to party and even if you don't it is kind of quiet in the rooms during night.

SerbiaA friend and I came to the hostel, knowing that it is a party hostel. We assumed that it would be loud because of the club downstairs, but not that the bunk bed would be shaking even on the third floor. The noise didn't bother us, as we saw from the previous reviews that it would be pretty noisy. However, what did bother us was the extreme dirtiness in this hostel. Our bedsheets were dirty, the room was dirty and the bathroom was awful. The bathrooms are mixed, and the shower cabins can't be fully closed and you can see through the gap. Also, during the evening there was no warm water in the showers. The whole hostel has a moldy smell. There is one kitchen for the whole 3 floors and it is not good. Overall the experience was pretty unpleasant and the people staying at the hostel are sketchy. As we are two girls, we didn't feel pretty safe there and we checked out 3 days earlier.
The only good thing is that it is really close to the city centre.

GermanyI stayed in a mixed dorm and the first night there was only me and a homeless old guy who drank all night, so i didn’t feel safe. also it was very noisy and all night someone tried to enter the room ( what was luckily locked from inside ). the bathroom was for female and male mixed what made me feel uncomfortable especially at night.
it was close to the center. the rooms were big and the bed was comfortable. there is a bar inside the hostel where you can have a drink but it’s public so it’s hard to get in contact with other travelers ( locals stay with themselves)
