Access to this upper floor apartment via stairs could prove difficult for less able customers with heavy luggage

it’s a long haul up three flights of stairs with heavy bags, but maybe the staircase adds to the charm of the old building. it was impossible to find TV channels, but maybe that’s because we’re pre-tech people (sigh).

well equipped and very good location with fine view of the river and castle hill, as well as a comfy bed.

There was no coffee making facility. There are lots of local cafes but just being able to have a cup in the apartment would have been nice.

The riverside location is amazing. The studio is light and bright. Being on the third floor it has great views. The owner was accommodating when we needed to change our stay due to a flight cancellation.

The stairs. Their was a lack of communication about the staircase lighting, but the landlord resolved it quickly.

The location was the best, we watched many events unfold from our view window. We appreciated the convenience of a washing machine and refrigerator.

The room is at the third floor of a building with no elevator and the stairs are very old and creepy... but the apartment is really good!

Situated next to the river and close to a lot of restaurants and bars, the flat has a wonderful view over the castle and the river. The best choice for a romantic weekend in Ljubljana.

The airconditioning turned out to be a ventilator. Normally that would be sufficient, but it happened to be 37 degrees celsius.

Nothing I disliked. Just be careful when you walk the stairs in the building, as they can be uneven amd steep.

Everything was fantastic, room size, comfy beds, facilities. Close to bars with the view on river and of the Ljubljanas castle. Only 15min walk from the main bus station.

The building the apartment is in is very old. While the apartment itself is fine, the access stairs (no lift) are through a part of the building in need of some serious improvement. The wooden stairs are worn in places, the lights do not always work and it's a long way up to haul luggage.

Excellent location close to all the action.

1st 2 days city was "closed" due to public holidays. Could not purchase any food except covenience-type products from a gas station (2 km walk away). It would have been thoughtful for some milk and coffee/tea to have been left on site. Chief worry was fire security. Single access and no alternate way of getting out. There were no visible smoke detectors. Fire extinguisher on landing, no fire blankets. No written emergency plan. A stairwell or apartment fire could be a major emergency.

Great location. Self contained. Quiet. Nice ambience (500 year old building). Met as arranged by manager and keys transferred - 3 storey building with no lift, but were prepared for that.

The building is authentic, also in a less nice way: poorly lit, dangerous stairs, and filled with a protruding smell from neighbours smoking indoors. Amenities seem to be just whatever the previous guests left behind—a wide selection of sugar sachets and tea, but no soap or washing powder or coffee. The host lives next door and does not seem to care, even for longer stays, you won't hear from her, except for when you bother her. Overall, this would all be fine if it weren't that there are better options for the same price.

The studio is in a nice location, and the view from the room is great.

One power point for the kettle needs replacing. Could provide a small amount of washing power for washing machine.
