How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We use a weighted review system which means that the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
Guidelines and standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.

Good location close to city centre, there is bus stop near the accommodation and also bike station :) Host is very friendly and she explained the city to us how to get around. All in all it was great

The host, Simon, was very welcoming and provided great information about the area. The shared kitchen worked perfectly with a convenient nearby market within walking distance. The dining/living room area was very spacious and comfortable.The heated floor in the comfortable bedroom was a nice touch. Conveniently located to central train station by bus across the street.

The beds were unfortunately too soft for us.
We really enjoyed the stay in Marta Studio, the host was very kind and helpful, and the location is great - it's really near the city centre, yet set in the quite part of the town.

As advertised our room was the smallest room in the accommodation. It was very small and the glass shower and toilet screens were a little bit off-putting. But it was very clean and had all you needed.
Great location, very clean. Simon met us out the front, gave us detailed information about the city and provided us with a map. The large communal kitchen and lounge area were great. We were able to walk easily to the town centre and bus station.

Very modern room in the original Ljubljana apt. It was sort of cool. I didn’t quite understood it when booking but it happened to work out just fine.

Everything was good!
Amazing studio rooms outside the centre of Ljubljana, very easy to get to by bus. The host was very welcoming and available. The studio in which we stayed was comfy, very clean, with a small kitchen and a bathroom, perfect for a stay. The host provided us with all the kitchen utensils and even some tea and coffee. I would recommend Marta Studios & Rooms!

Good to know that the toilet in some rooms is separeted from the room with a glass door. Kithcen facilities were limited.
Beds were good and easy to walk to the centre. Extra thanks to Simon for his help.

The host was exceptionally kind and attentive, making communication smooth and effortless. The accommodation itself is both cozy and functional, well located within walking distance to the heart of Ljubljana, with excellent public transport connections to other parts of the city. The space is well-equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay. Overall, a wonderful experience, I would highly recommend it to anyone.

It has nothing to envy of a prestigious hotel here in Ljubljana, super comfortable, well equipped, clean and very pleasant …. I would return without a doubt!!!

Just to say something, I would prefer a plastic or glass door in the shower instead of the curtain, and out room faced the main street which made it a bit noisy when we had the windows open.
Very nice, big and modern studio, with all the necessary things for our stay: nice bed, good air conditioning, kitchen... Location was in a main road around 20 min by walk from the city center, also reachable by public transportation or city bikes. We were able to park in the street next to the building for free.

Great staff who were very helpful to assist with requests and recommendations throughout the stay. Very easy to catch the bus into town or walk 20 mins. Large clean bathroom.
