Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I stayed there the second time. We couldn’t ask for better place for this price. Of course, it’s not a 5 star hotel but it’s clean and the location is awesome. Plus, the staff is very friendly 🌟

There could have been a small table with two chairs in the room, maybe attached to the wall due to the size of the room, because there is no place to sit beside the bed.
We liked the location, especially the view from the room, everything was clean and there was a storage place for the bags so we could leave our bags under a lock for the whole next day until our departure, which we appreciated!

I slept in a mix dormitory and were two washrooms in there, I guess labeling it by sex could be nice.
The room is clean and the beds has nice compartment ensuring some form privacy.

No window in bathroom so mould markings in all corners of the dorm room plus bathroom too. I stayed in this hostel the week before, the other dorm had windows in bathroom no mould anywhere.
My bed was very comfortable. Lots of space for luggage. Although no kitchen in room, kitchen n cooking facilities behind reception area for all of us to use. Staff very helpful. SPAR supermarket right across from hostel, across the river.

My bed was nit comfortable, not much support.
Simply but clean rooms. Enough space for luggage. Sml kitchen but cooking facilities to make a hot meal. Large supermarket opposite hostel, just cross the river. No where to socialise except in your room. Fantastic location, walking distance to everything. Hostel location was quiet at night on my 2 stays. My bedroom nice n warm at night.

It would be nice to have some tea in the room.
Everything was so good, also they allowed me to leave luggage and stay there till my bus arrive, I would recommend it.

The pillow was a bit too thick and hard for my taste and towels are not included, but the rest was alright!
Really good location and super helpful staff, they arranged my self check-in as I arrived after the reception closed. Also, very good value for money for a few nights!

At night time, sometimes it feels a bit scary walking from the gate to your room because lights only turn on when you pass through - Maybe they can also add curtains to the bunk beds to add more privacy
- perfect location in front of the river, 2 minutes walk to the Dragon Bridge plus a few more minutes to other parts of the old town, 15 mins. walk to the train/bus station, many cafes, restaurants nearby - staff were nice people - clean rooms

Stay with a junky-like croatian and a crazy serbian who always turns on his weird music.
The hostel is right in the center, a few walks away from the dragon bridge. The price was good, I was a solo tourist who needed a bed and this place is perfect for it.

The reception is down a few doors from the actual rooms, as a female solo traveller it felt a bit weird, knowing that your room opened out onto a borderline alley way with no reception or anything between you and the street. But it is a fairly safe city, so I didn’t feel unsafe as such.
The rooms and bathroom facilities were very clean and organised, it’s right in the city centre walking distance from the train station, and staff were very nice.

The common area and kitchen is a bit small. would be better if curtain is equipped to provide better privacy.
The location is great at the center of old town. The room is clean and provides tea. The shower is great.

The location was right next to the river and 10-15 minutes away from main attractions in the center. The room was very comfortable and quiet for sleeping. Especially considering the position of the apartment in the center, there was almost no noise coming from the outside.

No kitchen, towel and private locker are not included.
Amazing location in heart of Ljubljana! Nice and kind receptionists. Room was spacious, bed is comfortable, you have sheets for your bed. Wifi is good. Bathroom was super clean. I would like to stay here again.

Beds felt very cheap and close to breaking, not comfortable. The room of 10 beds was very cramped, and you feel very close to the people sleeping next to you.
Friendly check in & nice staff. WiFi was okay. Wasn’t too expensive.
