Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SloveniaA real downsize: a marketing swindle. Beware: You are given a »welcome bag«, containing a blue-striped swimming-pool towel and a bathrobe to take to the pool. But upon check-out they charge you unbelievable 13 euros for the use of a »welcome bag«. Unacceptable for a four-star hotel. In other four and even three-star hotels (run by the same company, for example in Radenci) the use of swimming-pool bahtrobe is free of charge and part of the package; if not, as in the neighbouring hotel Delfin, you must first ask for one and upon doing so you are informed in advance this will cost you three euros, a reasonable price that of course covers the laundry cost. Here, they impose the »welcome bag« upon you, it is already there in the room, you have no option to say yes or no, and the charge is abominable. Of course, it far ecxeeds the cost of the washing. And even worse: you are being heavily monitored at all time … for the possibility of stealing the towel. Dreadful! And even mor so for a four-star hotel. I was rudely stopped on my way from the pool to the »hotel« by a person with no identification card whatsoever. I was carrying the towel in my hands as it was wet and did not tuck into the bag. This supposedly made me suspicious in the eyes of a person approaching me, he was an employee but with no identification tag. The person in question stopped me dead in my tracks, would not let me pass and demanded to know if I was a guest (which I obviously was, judging from the welcome bag I was carrying), he did not introduce himself, stating who he was and what he was and why he was asking a question like that. The implication being that I was running away with the towel. When I remonstrated at the reception desk, the receptionist stated » I will let them know to be more careful«. What with? Their vigilante work? This is totally unprofessional.
Excellent location, close to the town and the beach, good food. Air-conditioning in the room was so loud it would be impossible to get any rest during the night, so I was kindly given a different room and even upgraded, for which many thanks. Hotel Mirta – this is no longer a hotel as there is no reception service on the premises, you need to let yourself in by means of an electronic card which you must retrieve from the central reception office, lots of going to and fro. The entire complex is sadly no longer a green oasis of peace and quiet as it used to be. After the renovation of annex budilings, noisy air conditioning systems sprang up adjacent to these buildings all over the place and in the centre of the complex too; they keep churning out loud grating noises at all times.

RomaniaThe heating wasn't turned on although it was chilly outside at the end of October.
The parking is large and there are plenty of spots for tourists who come off-season. The buffet breakfast and dinner have delicious and quality meals. The hotel is situated close to the sea shore and the promenade and it's surrounded by a park.

Czech RepublicThe nonalcoholic drinks for dinner were not free of charge. I understand that the alcoholic drinks are paid extra, but I think that some basic nonalcoholic drinks, like water and juice, should be included in the price. There were too many people on the beach, but that is probably normal in July/August.
We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The room was big and comfortable, the view from the balcony nice. The hotel is surrounded by a beatiful park. The restaurant is close and the beach is close too. Everything in the hotel was clean. The dinners and breakfast were rich.

SloveniaNothing special. The swimming pool facilities could use a refurbishment and they are quite small (changing room). On the other hand, there is not much to complain.
The room was suitable. Not too big, not too small. The bathroom was clean, also the room. The breakfast/dinner is served in an extra building - 250 - 50m away (depending on the location of stay). The food was good. Also, the view from the dining room is great. The staff was friendly.

PolandRooms good size and clean, but looks little outdated. Huge selection of food for breakfast but it was same for all 3 days. All tasty. I would recommend to add some more personalization like omlets made to order etc .. that you can find in some other 4* hotels around the world. Nice area around, sports facilities, beach. 1km walk to city center for great food and drinks.

SloveniaThere were a lot of flies in the hotel restaurant. A lot! Dinner was pretty much the same all week. Some food appeared a few days in a row. In the evening you have to leave the resort to get some drinks or souvenirs (but the town Izola is within walking distance :)).
Beach is very close to the hotel and nice. The room was well-sized and quiet. Nice sea view from the hotel restaurant. Big parking lot. Walking path by the sea to Izola.
