Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandLovely owners, charming estate, great restaurant within walking distance. The places to visit in the Karst region are all close (Stanjel, caves, river Reka, Lipicca…) We also very much enjoyed the horse carriage ride.

IsraelThe bedroom has many small windows, but not all of them have blinds, making it difficult to darken the room. We managed by covering the windows with pillows, which were plentiful there :) This wasn't a significant downside for us. Plus, our child could look out the window while lying in bed, which he did regularly.
What we loved and remembered most was the wonderful hospitality of the hosts! They are very kind, always ready to help, and greeted us with pleasant souvenirs. The owner took us for a carriage ride through the forest, drawn by two beautiful Lipizzan horses, and it was an amazing experience. The horses were too big for our three-year-old son, so he didn't ride them, but they lived next to us, and we could come and pet them every day. Our child was thrilled. I also want to recommend the hiking with goats through the forest, which the hostess helps organize. It's super unusual and interesting for kids. The house is quite spacious, clean, and the beds are comfortable. It had everything we needed, and we could ask the hosts for anything missing. The house is located on the hosts' family property, opposite their house, but there is a cozy corner with a table, secluded by bushes, where you can be almost in privacy. There are no fences around (actually, all gates are open), but the house is on the outskirts, with hardly any cars nearby. We comfortably let our child wander around the cottage. He joyfully ran barefoot on the green lawn and even the rocky paths. The whole area of Povir makes a wonderful impression with its manicured lawns and flower beds. It's pleasant to walk around the neighborhood. But, of course, a car is necessary :)

CroatiaWe stopped briefly at this property to break up our drive and to visit the Lipica farm. We were welcomed to the property with a nice fire to warm it up and Taja made sure we had everything we need. We were gifted a bottle of local wine as well as lavendar lip balm which was made by a neighbor. I would greatly recommend paying Nina a visit down the street, the lavendar field is breathtaking and the products smell amazing. The property was great for my kids to play and explore. Although it rained the majority of our time we were able to take advantage of the surrounding nature and my children greatly enjoyed the animals and new friends on the property. Inside the home is clean and comfortable. My kids didn’t want to get out of the beds because they were so comfortable, I’d stay again for this reason alone! Taja and her family were very kind to allow my children to take a ride on their pony which was the highlight of their visit and a very sweet gesture on their part. We hope we are able to make it out again sometime soon!

Czech RepublicThe whole experience was excellent. We spent 3 nights at Tmbin’s barn. When we arrived we had the fire burning in the fireplace(a warm welcome 😉). To be noted that the property and facilities are environment friendly. Our kids love horses and the owners prepared horses carefully together and provided riding lessons and also prepared for horse carriage ride. The host gave us great advices to visit places around the accomodation, also restaurant where we had delicious food.
