Bathroom would need a bit of touch to tie the screws. Reception didn't mention the sauna and swimming pool requires separate reservations.

I was awakened at 6:30 by a creaking door, probably the door leading to the stairwell.

Delicious breakfast with the stunning view. Many ways to spend the time within the hotel and outdoors. Not far from tourist destinations like Jánošíkove diery or cablecar to Chleb mountain (but still it is better, if you have a car).

The TV was not working because the signal was too low. Part of the carpet was missing in the room. The access card for the room was sometimes stuck.

Breakfast was awesome. The hotel includes many leisure activities like a pool, sauna, billiard, and bowling. There were many options on the dinner menu. It is great that you can buy for 5Euros full-day ski pass for the whole valley.

The hotel definately needs a renovation. The furniture is old and deteriorated and it smells everywhere. No hairdryer in the room but you can ask for one at the reception

No restaurant, in the evening there is only buffet dinner with poor choice and much too expensive. There is no information about it on the hotel site. I was badly surprised that there is no restaurant with menu a la carte. You have to pay extra for sauna and bowling.

Breakfast surprisingly good, especially as per Slovakian food standards, however evening dinner very poor and very overpriced. View is great when you have the room on the right side, but you can also have the view on the parking. Pool was ok, but no jacuzzi, no special area or smaller pool for children. Sauna to be paid extra, what is bit surprising taking into consideration the prices of stay.

Rooms are equipped with an old furniture. Everything is kind of dirty, with spots, old, unstylish. Hallways and common space also. The staff was not as polite as I would expect.

Outstanding hotel location with spectacular view. I recommend to order a very good and tasteful buffet dinner. Nice and cosy hotel in the middle of nice nature close to waterfalls and cable car. Hotel staff is very accommodating and swimming pool is very good opportunity to relax after mounting trip.

Hotel Boboty used to be great, we last visited in 2018 and at that time a floor was being renovated so we had high expectations of a refurbished Boboty in 2025. This was not the case. In our room the shower attachment was broken so you could only hand shower. Curtains were also missing so you could not seal out morning light. These are simple and obvious maintenance issues! On the Sunday when we arrived Boboty was busy with weekend skiers and all the faculties were open. On Monday everyone had left and we were one of the few guests remaining. A sign went up saying the pool and sauna were unavailable due to a pump issue. I can’t help but think this was an invented issue to save on money when occupancy is low. Super annoying as using the sauna was one of the reasons we had booked. Also the menu options in the restaurant significantly reduced. Then three of our family got gastro so we had to leave one night early, which was already reduce from an original plan to stay 4 nights. In the end we were glad to get out of there and I’m not sure we will return. There are now better options in the area at a similar price point. It’s a shame as we have so many good memories of Boboty and we know it could be so much better if small improvements were made.

Hotel Boboty has an old charm and is well located to some great ski slopes and hiking trails. Sadly it has also become quite run down and is in desperate need of refurbishing.

The beds was very bad. The furnitures was very worn out and stained. The carpet on the floor was stringy and dented. There was hair from another guest in the drawer at the side of the bed. The balcony was rusty. It was far to expensive for this room ☹️

Hotel is very old and hasn’t been renovated for a long time. Rooms are small and old too, to be honest everything seems to beg for renovation. Swimming pool opens very late- at 4pm and closes at 9pm so you can’t use it for the most of the day and the biggest disadvantage is you cannot use it in the morning. Receptionists weren’t friendly nor helpful. To use sauna you have to pay additionally (we didn’t know about it in advance), also it is open only for a few hours.

The only advantages of the hotel are good location (only if you have a car) and very tasty breakfast with good coffee and beautiful view.

The hotel is a bit old-fashioned inside, but personally I don't find it a problem.

Superb location. Amazing view from the rooms with the mountain view. Breakfast and dinner very tasty (although Slovak-specific) with mountain view. On top of that nice add-ons like swimming pool, pool table. Beds were very comfortable and rooms quite spacious.
