Loved the location. Close to the main attractions and most importantly, close to a very good restaurant called Souposo. The room is nice but it misses a table - place - for you to put your stuff, as it only has the sink but no space for anything else. Shower could also have a little curtain so you don’t get the toilet wet when showering. One of the staff was wonderful in making me an omelet everyday, instead of the boiled egg that is normally given. I would stay again but my main complain is: it says you can pay with card but you can’t. They don’t accept it and say there is a problem with the bank. Luckily they gave me the option of making a wise transfer, but it is disappointing!

First dorm I got was horrendous and moreover stank. Paid more and got changed to a dorm with a/c The bed are very uncomfortable , spring mattress type and you feel all of them … Wooden house so very noisy

I stayed in room number six and it was a great room with very good AC, but that mattress really needs to be replaced. Either replaced or put some kind of a topper on it because you can feel the coils.

First off, the staff are so great! The two women who work the reception area are fantastic. Very on the ball and attentive. The hostel is in a great location as well.

Friendly staff that were always able to assist me with bookings, taxis, etc. The room (private room with private bathroom and AC) was good value when comparing with other accommodation in the city.

Too hot in common areas ( only 2 fans ) We upgraded to air con room but had to move once again once this broke which took a few hours to resolve

A clean and open atmosphere with a very friendly staff. If I had known this hostel at the beginning of my tour in Suriname, it would have been my home base in Paramaribo. I loved the backpackers-vibe.

The wifi didn't work for half the day for two of the days I was there; water didn't work for one of the days I was there

The staff were very friendly and helpful; great location near the old town and plenty of restaurants; wifi worked well in my room when it actually worked; air conditioning worked well which is needed in that kind of heat

There were so many small bugs biting me all night. I was there for a couple of nights and had to move out. Too many small bugs are able to get into the rooms.

Pretty convenient location - you can walk to most of the sights in 10-15 minutes. Not recommended to be outside after dark though. A couple restaurants on the corner. Very hot, but they have fans in the rooms and one near the hostel entrance/front desk.

Considering the low price, my only real complaint is that he pillows were pretty terrible. Like a sack filled with a few cotton balls. Otherwise I had no issues.

The staff is friendly, the location is great, and the air conditioned rooms are a good price. We were only there for one night so we didn't have much time to take advantage of the public space but it seemed pretty good.

Weird vibe going on at this hostel, and the room was below expectations in terms of quality. One of the staff members was quite rude. Location is fine, but at night it's dark/semi-deserted/we did not feel safe walking around.

Decent hostel in Paramaribo, not great but not bad. There were other travelers, free coffee, and some of the staff were quite friendly. Balconies outside rooms were nice! Overall just ok, although the whole city is weird so it may be one of the best choices.
