A very pleasant hostel. Plenty of room in the kitchen and a nice little garden to chill at night. My initial room was super hot, but I could upgrade very easily. Really nice staff as well

At the time I was there there were several things that were broken or unavailable. I’m sure the communal fridge is fixed by now and the bank has sent a credit card machine.

The hostel was good. I met some other travelers and got some good information about other places to visit.

- Minimum privacy in the room as beds are quite close to each other - Only possible to pay with Mastercard as I remember. VISA is not common in Suriname

- Very friendly staff - A/C room is good, as it is hot in Paramaribo - Good kitchen facilities - Possible to buy drinks at the hostel - Good and clean toilet facilities - Big common room with TV - Bicycle rental - Power outlet at each bed - Lockers in the room

The best place to stay in Paramaribo as a budget traveler. Simi’s eethuis ( definitely go there for breakfast/ early lunch) is just up the street. lt is near a lot of things. We stayed there 3 times during our trip. The staff is nice as well.

Nothing, it was perfect

The best place I stayed throughout the Guineas area!! Absolutely amazing!! Thank you for everything. The room was perfect, the price was amazing, the staff were helpful, the internet was great and the location was close to everything. I will be back for sure! Made my time in Suriname even better. HIGHLY RECCOMMEND!!!

the ac room is incredible! it’s huge, has its own balcony, and private bathroom and shower. the ac works great. it overlooks the front of the hostel. yes it’s more expensive than the other rooms but way more comfortable too. and still affordable overall. the location of course is incredible, close to all the top sights. and souposo, a really delicious restaurant, is downtown be street to your right if you’re facing out of the hostel.

Bathroom floor was very dirty. The AC was leaking a lot of water and did not cool the room down. Building is wooden so don’t expect any good sleep because it’s very loud. Lots of loud footsteps and slamming doors. Could not sleep and I am not a light sleeper either.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Balcony was nice. Mattress was covered in plastic to prevent bed bugs.

Loved everything.

The best accomodation for travellers in all of the Guyanias. The only hostel too but it's up there with the best and I've stayed at hundreds of hostels. Nice chill out areas downstairs and outside in the back yard. Book exchange, some classic video games. Couches. The dorms only have 3 beds and single beds without bunks which is fantastic. Very clean, organized and showers are the same. In the exact location you want to be in walking distance to many of the sights and good restaurants. Towels included and keys for each room which is fantastic. The owner Jan is putting a lot of effort into the set up and management of the hostel. He's very involved in the day to day management and customer experience. I stayed here 3 separate times as i travelled throughout the region and the hostel alone will have you hanging around in paramaribo longer than you expected.
