Luis is a wonderful person and host. It was a pleasure to saty at casa Luis. Perfect place, close to the airport, close to the city, very quiet... and the poll was great for the kids.

Ver friendly atmosphere. the Host is just great, providing information and help on anything we needed. Breakfast was probably the best we eat during our stay in São Tomé !

Mr Luis was the perfect host. The grounds were beautiful. The place was clean and comfortable. The pool so refreshing and peaceful - perfect for cooling off each night. Breakfast was delicious and filling. Kitchen access was very convenient for preparing meals, along with a nice dining and living room area for relaxing, or socializing with other guests. Luis was always available to address any issues or answer any questions. We were able to keep our bags safely locked at the House while venturing over to Principe for 5 days, then return for another 3 days’ stay at Casa Luis. Luis made our trip to São Tomé seamless, pleasant and memorable.

Our room was very dark as it was in the basement. Completely okay for us as we only stayed one short night. Location is far away from everything, but we had a rental car, so it was easy.

It was the clearest place we stayed during our whole stay in the country! Our flight was leaving at 7 am, but we got coffee and fruits at 4:45. Thank you so much! Wifi good, water hit, bed comfortable, very quiet location.

Location is far from city center. If you don’t have a car, it might be difficult to get anywhere as finding a taxi is not as straight forward as in other countries.

Amazing location as the property is very close to the airport as it is from the city Center. Mr. Luís is a very sweet and caring host, like a father figure as he helped us with whatever we needed. We ended up feeling at home. The room is spacious, is cleaned every day and has an AC that works very well. Breakfast is served outside by the pool where planes can be seen landing and taking off.

The way every guest is treated, like familly. awesome breakfasts just before landing in the pool. Mr Luis, Mrs Catarina, Mr Lucio are absolutely fantastic. An oasis inside the capital. Very affordable and definitly worth it. will certainly return, next time bringing the kids.

Casa luis is a fantastic place to stay. During my time in Sao Tome I had my base there. The room is spacious and gets cleaned every day. Top notch. The daily breakfast is tasty and plenty. Staff is friendly and always smiley. Luis the owner is super welcoming and friendly. He speaks English , too. The outside area is a little paradise and it’s well maintained. Pool is super refreshing. Area is quiet and peaceful. The place is a 8 minute moto taxi ride away from the city and also just like 7-8 minutes away from the airport. It is also safe to walk around even in the night time. Never had any issues as a female solo traveller. Highly recommend.

It has nothing related to the accommodation, but the condition of the access road to the accommodation needs some maintenance.

The location of the accommodation is very good. The friendliness, attention and care of Mr. Luís and his wife were excellent, an experience worth repeating.

The road is in very bad shape for some 100 meters; requires 4x4; tuck-tuck hardly get there.

Bad roads to the hotel (dirt roads full of holes and rocks). Only possible to pay in cash (like most restaurants, stores etc). Bring lots of euros!

Outstanding location 5 min from the airport and Senhor Luis provided the airport drop-off for just €10 at 5.15am. Excellent breakfast too, which we tasted upon entering the country. On parle français aussi

Breakfast was okay, but rather limited. It was served at the pool area which was very nice, but everything was pre-made... Which means that your pre-made eggs were already waiting put on the table... hence they are cold

It was really nice staying at Casa Luis, they are super friendly and ready to help where they can. The pool outside is also very nice after a warm day. The road to Casa Luis can be a bit of a challenge, but so are most of the roads in Sao Tome. Would definitely stay here again

The place is a bit off but still within walking distance to the city center if you are in descent shape.

Air con in the room was a great relief after walking around in the hot and humid capitol. Aswell was a dip in the good sized swimmingpool even if it has seen better days. Nice community area and a little garden to hang out in was also a plus. Friendly staff. Good wifi. Accommadation is overall expensive in Sao Tome' but this place was the best value of money in our holiday. We would stay again!
