1. I loved that there was a wide variety of things to eat at the various restaurants in the resort. The food was delicious. 2.The view from the balcony of our room and from the Azul restaurant was breathtaking. 3.Live entertainment and other events were planned out each day. 4. The culture, hospitality and warmness of the workers and persons in St. Martin were amazing. Both my husband and I enjoyed our stay fully. We recommend anyone planning to visit St Maarten to stay at the Sonesta Ocean Point Resort. You will not regret it.

United StatesI didn't like how close the adult only facilities and restaurants were to the family friendly side. I would've preferred more separation for the cost difference. I almost could've paid less and stayed on the family friendly side.
The location was beautiful, and location was great! We could walk to many places and were able to take our car service to many other places. The rooms were clean and spacious and we loved the mini bar ( which was massive).

United StatesThe only thing I can really say could have been a little better was the Music at the pool and bar area was Louder than it needed to be in my opinion and the early morning (6am-9am) music around the walkways and throughout the resort could have been more relaxing and a little quieter. This is only my opinion, generally the music selection was Great and performers were very good.
We enjoyed nearly everything about the resort, the staff was Great and the Food was well above expectations!!! The staff was also helpful in information about both on and off resort activities. They were very helpful !

United StatesDisappointed there was no resort private beach. Didn’t like that you had to scan in and check in to the buffet even just to get a cup of ice cream. Didn’t like having to share some space with the family resort. Didn’t like how they didn’t accommodate some of our requests like having rooms close to other couples that we traveled with.

United StatesNo bathrooms near the pool. No coffee in the adult section. I paid extra for the adult section why would I want to go over to the loud chaotic family side? Very few lunch options for the adults. There is a poolside cookout every other day but it doesn’t start until 3. Delicious but start it earlier.
Watching the airplanes and the gorgeous turquoise water. Pool was not crowded and beautiful.

United StatesWe felt the food was not as delicious as we expected. Really enjoyed Portofino Restaurant, but Azul for dinner while the presentation was fabulous, the food fell short. We did enjoy the Asian restaurant too. Ocean Terrace was poor. Service everywhere was fantastic!

Saint Kitts and NevisThe air condition in inside area at breakfast was balmy. Did not enjoy the food at Azul and Blue Fin. All of the other restaurants were closed during our stay. Not sure why hotel was designated as adults only.
Loved the salt fish on the Sunday breakfast menu. Loved feeding the iguanas and friendly parrots that visited us at breakfast. Loved the location of Azul and Blue Fin restaurants. Loved my room.

United StatesThe Lounge chairs at our swim up pool was a bit dirty... it has food particles laying on the floor. I called to have it clean and I was told I'd have to wait until the am.
Love the fact they have a 24hr room service and the adult only was a separate building/area/. I was very close to the airport and the staff was very friendly.
