Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

A $20 voucher each morning for local breakfast/lunch. Very nice pool. Individual A/C units per room and ceiling fan. Good Internet connection. Small safe in room.

United StatesThat they had to give you vouchers to go it! When I booked it I just assumed there was a restaurant on the property! I say that because it says breakfast included!
That it was close to all the shops, bars & restaurants!

BelizeThe space in the rooms were a bit tight, but for the price it was good.
I believe we got value for our money and the location was the best. Although we were not located on the beach, the beach was just a 5 minute walk.

IsraelThere were renovations going on there, they started making noise early in the morning and the pool area was also full of broken windows. The sea is close but there was no easy access to the beach.

United StatesThere was a lot of construction and remodeling going on at the hotel during our stay. There was no chance for a mid day nap if needed. Also the wifi was bad in our room. They did come and try to fix it however stated that the wires were bad and couldn’t be fixed during our stay. The only time it was an issue is when I tried to watch TV before bed.
The location was perfect. A two minute walk to a beautiful reserved area on the beach. It was also close to restaurants, shops and great coffee.

It was a fabulous deal to be right in the center of everything. You can walk to almost everything.

United StatesThe receptionist when we checked in wasn't the friendliest person I encountered, not mean but not super helpful either. That was the only negative experience with the staff I had the entire time I was there. Everyone else was helpful, informative, and addressed any issue right away.
Breakfast was not at the location. You get a $10 per person credit at one of several local restaurants in the area. We ended up trying Shay Cafe and went there every day during the stay. We usually paid about $5-10 more than what the $10 per diem covered but you could have eaten there mostly free. The location is ideal if you are spending most of your time on Grace Bay. There is easy access (walking) to local shops, restaurants, a convenience store, and the beach. There's also easy access to some of the larger resorts (Villa Renaissance, Ritz, and Seven Seas). The resort does have its own lounge chair area at the beach but no services other than towels so you can pick up lunch/water nearby and still have a front row seat to the ocean. We also used the referred taxi service from the hotel and they were on time and friendly. The resort sits at the back of a lot with Danny Bouy's (famous dive bar). They have karaoke on Tuesday/Thursday nights which can get pretty loud and goes into the wee hours of the morning. We could hear it from the parking lot or pool but not once we were inside our unit so it was never an issue. Plus we had a great time hanging out at Danny Bouy's ourselves (great food and service). Ths is not a high-end resort but for the cost and access to everything we needed, staying here made the trip far more affordable than staying elsewhere. It was clean and comfortable, and the pool area was well maintained and easy to access from our ground floor room.

United StatesThe following surprised me: 1. no lotion of any kind was in the room; 2. bathroom bathing gel was limited and not enough for a week's stay. None of the containers were refilled during my week stay! 3. There was NO shampoo in the dispenser during my entire stay. 4. Bars - very tiny and extremely thin - of soap were too small to really lather up. 5. ****The ACCESS to the beach, approximately two blocks across the street was really FILTHY with black plastic garbage bags, bottles, cans, cups and other debris on BOTH sides of the entrance - a stone wall - that led to the beach. Even the area on the BEACH at the bottom of the rickety steps that provided final access to the SAND was LITTERED with GARBAGE that overran the garbage can: UNSIGHTLY and SMELLY. EVERY DAY for the ENTIRE week guests had to walk through this FILTHY heap! 6. Food in general was very expensive given the tourist tax and government taxes which required 20% of the bill. Moreover, at places like the Ritz Carlton, a sushi roll was $35 before surcharges. However, at least the SIZE of the roll was very adequate, NOT so at most other establishments! $71 for ONE sushi roll and guacamole BEFORE surcharges and taxes is a bit much. 7. At Farm, a fairly new establishment at Grace Bay, I ordered a local beer. When I paid the check, the waiter DID NOT bring back my CHANGE. I gave him a $10 bill for a $7.32 bill. He brought back $2! Then rather than cause a scene I said nothing. Wait staff MUST allow the patron to decide what he or she wants to do! This is not appropriate or respectful behavior. I left another $1 tip. Nonetheless, the WAIT person BEHAVED ABSOLUTELY INAPPROPRIATELY!
The desk staff were friendly, pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable, especially Ms. Eben. Guests had a choice of THREE breakfast locations. Shay Cafe and Lounge provided the best service and a variety of breakfast and/or lunch choices. I was there six of my seven days. ONLY ONE establishment on the Grace Bay corridor is owned and operated by a local: Caribbean Element. It was by far the best dining experience I had on Turks & Caicos: food freshness, tasty and savory, variety, sizeable portions and attentive service. Too bad I discovered this gem the last night of my stay! Caribbean Element is a place for solo, family or group stop! Check it out!
