“✅it was honestly was incredible party atmosphere, we went on the pub crawl which started out with an awkward game of pool, but after that and everyone had settled in, it was a great night out, and made some great friends. the staff were very personable, funny and helpful with our room, which was honestly just a basic hostel room, but didn’t matter because the purpose of the stay is more about enjoying the beauty of phi phi and the night out , rather than sitting in the room
❌ as you’d expect with a hostel on the beach, the rooms got really sandy, the bathrooms weren’t amazing and it wasn’t the best night sleep of all time, but at the end of the day as i mentioned, that’s part of the experience. and also the walk back from the hostel to phi phi port in the heat while hungover isn’t for the weak!”
“Great position, right in the center and near the port.
Many restaurants and places nearby.
Amazing pool in the court.
Good breakfast.
Clean, cozy and quiet room.”
“Fantastic location, only 4min walk from the ferry, very easy to wonder round the main part of the island and lots of restaurant options nearby. It was also brilliantly quiet at night and rooms were obviously quite new.
Only downside was the bathroom smelt of sewage. Not unbearable and the staff did try to cover up with room spray, but ultimately I think they have problem with their sewage network causing the smell. There were also quite a lot of mosquitos in the room. Every time we killed one, 2 more seemed to appear. Must of killed 30+ over the course of 2 nights.
Overall would still choose this condition again, as opposed to options with boat transfers or loud music nearby. Maybe just book a swimming pool view or balcony so you’re a bit higher & away from the sewage outlet.”
“Really nice hotel right on the beach! Amazing, beautiful location. Could stay there for a long time and just relax in this surroundings! The back and forth to the center of the island are by taxi boat which you have to arrange yourself and pay extra”
“Great location and walking distance to beach, bars and restaurants. Staff were lovely but unfortunately it was so so incredibly noisy during the night and AC wasn’t very strong so room became warm very quickly. Pool was just ok, didn’t seem overly clean and pool bar wasn’t stocked. However for a 1/2 night stay it is fine for the location.”
