Our experience was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in the beauty of this tropical haven. The lush garden surroundings made it feel like a secluded resort, all just steps from the beach. The pool and wide range of water activities added the perfect touch of fun and relaxation. The hospitality was truly exceptional—warm, thoughtful, and attentive. We stayed in a lovely room with a balcony overlooking the garden, and every detail was cared for. Each morning, housekeeping refreshed our space, and every evening, they returned to prepare the room for a restful night, complete with a sweet treat on the pillow. It’s those small touches that made the experience feel so luxurious. I genuinely wish we could have stayed longer. This place is a dream, and we can’t wait to come back!

The hotel bathrooms have a very odd layout with a glass door that doubles as both the shower and toilet door. Which isn't great for privacy. The hotel feels too compact for the number of guests which often meant it was difficult to get a sun lounger. There seemed to be a lot Brits who love to stake out "their" chairs in the morning even though the hotel has a policy stating not to do so. Breakfast was very okay and the restaurant's location is tucked away near the lobby and feels very crowded in an unappealing way during peak times. The hotel just feels too small for the amount of rooms and price point. If it was larger it would disperse people better.

The gardens are just as beautiful as the photos. The resort does an excellent job of embracing the Thai spirit, which is absent from other hotels around the island. Staff are excellent, responsive, and I have no fault. Rooms are comfortable as are the beds and they feature nice new modern TVs. The pool is beautiful and its location right on the beach provides excellent views. Its location is perfect for exploring Bophut which is nice for a night or two.

The hotel is stunning, located on a beautiful beach which is sectioned off with a private area for hotel guests. The hotel is 5 minutes from the fisherman’s village which is great for bars and restaurants. The hotel puts on evening dining events throughout the week and puts a lot of effort into them, they are worth doing. The rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast is excellent and the food at the pool bar for lunch time is great too. We couldn’t fault the hotel and staff and would definitely go back!

Quite irritating bathroom - someone thought they were terribly clever but it was just annoying.

Rooms were quite dark. Housekeeping was very late in the afternoon and then turn down was very early and only an hour or two later some days. Sunbeds too close together and some days there were not enough.

Excellent location right on the edge of Fisherman’s Village. Friendly staff. Pretty surroundings. Water provided. The room was large and comfortable. Nice breakfast included. Nice pool. Sun beds could not be reserved.

I thought the food and drinks were priced on the high side. I realise that it is a desirable resort, however it tended to push me down the Fishermans Village route for eating and drinking in the evenings.

Suggest to do something to the glass door of the toilet/WC as a few times closed the glass door hastily and caused a rather loud bang.

The Staff are all very friendly and helpful (my Nike shoe sole was 'open' and the staff managed to get for me a super glue to fix my shoes issues). The bathtub is huge and come with a burning oil for aromatherapy! The room is spacious with 2 balcony!

The wi-fi was bad. There was connectivity at all times but often painfully slow. This was a problem as I always need to work on my laptop for a few hours per day.

Had an amazing stay at Anantara Bophut with my family. Service, breakfast, room, almost everything was as good as it gets.

There was a pretty extensive kids club which is great if you have children or grandchildren with you. Perhaps not so great if you haven’t!

The property was spotless and well laid out. We were only staying for 1 night before moving on the next morning and so had chosen the lowest category room. However, our room was spacious and had the most comfortable big bed and had every amenities one could want.

The hotel is full of mosquitoes.

The staff were so kind and willing to help with everything we needed. The breakfast was the best we had in thailand. The rooms are super clean and comfortable.
