AC is positioned behind the bed and section divider. It is where the tub is. It isn’t enough to cool the room. Beautiful place otherwise.

Pool access rooms are lovely, just wish the windows were tinted so people in pool cant see in (you need to have the curtains closed to stop this). Lovely showers. Lovely rooms. Great location.

Fab hotel, we chose the room with a private pool which was the best decision ever! Huge room where you could step straight into your own pool, so worth the extra money! The room itself was super comfortable with lots of space and a huge comfy bed. Cleanliness could have been a little better, few bits of dust and hair from previous occupants wasn’t ideal, but it didn’t ruin the stay.

Very chill place, close to the pier, room is comfortable and you can see trees and sometimes monkeys from the room balcony. Breakfast is nice and enough

Absolutely loved this hotel, the staff were very kind they upgraded us for free and as it was our anniversary they decorated the bed for us, rooms were so clean, the balcony was very comfy with the sofa beds, the pool was amazing and it was lovely to see the little monkeys, around the resort, Breakfast was also very good :) we would love to come back to this hotel

The swim up rooms are lovely. Excellent price for the location. If I ever come to Railay again I would stay here. 💯 Staff are very friendly. Rooms clean and huge comfortable beds.

We had a lovely stay at Avatar Railay - the location was incredible. 2 minutes to Railay east pier, only 5 from Railay beach. Staff when we checked in were friendly and informative, our room was upgraded which was a surprise and meant we had a lovely view. The monkey’s added to the charm of the place and we loved watching them! The pool was in the shade for the majority of the day, but as it was so warm it didn’t matter at all. Breakfast was good with a selection of different foods. The only downside was that staff would come to clean the room around 10am, if you were still in your room they would not come back during the day so we often did not have our rooms cleaned.

The pool was mostly in the shade and therefore not warm. The room was very dark a lot of mood lighting but nothing to brighten up the room much.

The rooms ver nice spacious and clean. Hotel is close to the ferry terminal (different to long tail boats on main Beach)

The property was in a great location, away from the main area but still close enough to walk to in minutes. It is set back in lovely surroundings , the pool is great and was very quiet when we were there. Although the monkeys are a seen as a pest, it was great to see both the ‘nice’ langurs and the ‘naughty’ macaques. They didn’t cause any issues and were funny to watch and very close by. The restaurant and staff were great too ! Highly recommend Avatar !

Well worth the money hotel in a highly sought after area. Very comfortable beds. Lovely big rooms. Well worth the extra for a pool access room as not that many sun beds. Good range of breakfast, plenty to eat and drink. Lovely staff who are always busy keeping the hotel clean and tidy. Cold pool, but ideal when it’s hot and muggy. Loved watching the monkeys around the pool. They will take any food left out on the balconies, but are not dangerous. A short walk to everything on Railay and just 2 minutes walk to the east pier.

This hotel was an amazing place to stay! Chose the villa style and it did not disappoint! The reception team are so lovely and caring! I really felt welcomed! Beds were comfy, showers were working, ac was good! The monkeys in the balcony added also a bit of fun to my trip!!

We had an awesome stay at Avatar. The room was spacious, clean, excellent bed, and fantastic AC. The pool was refreshing. Staff attentive. The complimentary breakfast was fantastic. Would definitely stay again. Highly recommended.

The breakfast is very low on variety. There is nothing to put on the bread more than jam or butter. It is good for people who like american breakfast or having like a mini lunch for breakfast.

The hotel is great! Very clean, great rooms, and perfect location. Delicious welcoming drink when checking in. Omelette was the best thing about breakfast.
