Didn’t necessarily dislike but the bathroom was a wet room instead of having a separate shower. Ants were coming through the front door, but we were able to put the bath mat and stop them.

Amazing views, kind staff, friendly kids on the property, clean room. We were able to rent a motorbike from the reception desk and it was brought to the property in 10 min. Also, free tuktuk rides to Aonang beach.

Clean, quiet, very friendly staff! Beautiful area. They will take you into town, you just have to get back on your own. Nice breakfast options. AC worked great!

We really liked everything about this hotel First, the natural setting: nature all around, magnificent view of a nice lake and mountains and very peaceful Second, the personal: words are not enough to describe the kindness, patience and love everyone at the hotel showed us during our stay…oh yes and their smile and good vibes as well of course ! Third, the excursions: the manager helped us to find good tours at a very good price and even with discounts Fourth, the restaurant: everything they prepared was delicious and moreover not expensive at all Fifth, the location: for those looking for an equilibrium between a calm place not far from Ao Nang this is the best place We had a family bungalow just next to the pool and it was amazing I really want to say a big thank you to everyone at the hotel because you’re doing a fantastic job !!!

Potentially a negative but we didn’t see it as such - the property is located around 10 mins tuk tuk ride from Ao Nang. However, the property conveniently offer a complimentary tuk tuk service into town which we used a number of times.

A lovely tranquil resort away from the business of Ao Nang. The pool was lovely, very clean and keeps the sun throughout the day. The on site restaurant was well priced, convenient and staff were very attentive. The restaurant and our bungalow looked over the lake which was beautiful - a lovely setting!

Beautiful place to stay with friendly staff. The lady working there can help with things like scooter rental or transfers if needed which was convenient. Views from the room are really nice.

The shower/bathroom is a wet room so the entire space gets wet, but does dry fairly quickly in a couple of hours. I would shower just before bed and it would be dry in the morning.

A very nice family run resort. The bungalows with the balcony was a great place to sit and relax and the pool was a good temperature for cooling down. Breakfast was not included in my rate but was very reasonable and good. I ate most of my meals at the restaurant and nothing was disappointing. It is far from town but they offer a free shuttle one way, you have to find your own way back which was easy to do.

The washroom was okay looking but still clean. We didn’t see any bugs in our place. Even though it’s hard to get grab they’re always available to drop you off to the city.

Beautiful views and peaceful atmosphere. Front desk Aisha (I think that’s how you spell her name) was so helpful to us. She helped us book our Phi Phi islands tour and also the taxi the next day. The bed was one of the comfiest ones we slept in. Breakfast was simple and breakfast views were amazing 😍

The shower soaks everything ( remove the toilet roll) but within an hour everything is dry again. The shower wasn’t particularly warm but it was so hot anyway we didn’t mind.

This place is a little gem in the middle of nowhere. The staff were incredibly helpful even provided transport to Ao Nang when required for free. You have to get a taxi back as they don’t do pick ups. The room was clean with a lovely veranda over the lake. The fish in the lake are huge and enjoy the leftovers from breakfast from the restaurant which also overlooks the lake. The food was pleasant but no alcohol is sold on the premises but you can bring it with you and put it in the fridge in your room. We saw and heard monkeys and some of the birds are beautiful. The pool is small but nice for a dip if you stay on sight all day. We loved it here.

Bathroom is small. And some insects can get in from the window. At night, we heard perhaps monkeys on the roof, so it was a bit noisy even with earplugs. During the night/day, it gets quite hot if AC is not on.

Cute bungalows facing the lake. Service is great. Everyone was super nice and helpful. Bed is comfortable. Room is big. Balcony is cute. There is a pool as well. Shuttle can be arranged to go to the beach. Breakfast is extra but it’s good. Peaceful and relaxing vibe.

We had a nice time short stay at Baannai Lake View Resort! Super nice and friendly owner , she helped us with all questions and organised a private boat tour within a few hours and a scooter . Everything was clean and tidy Thank you! We will be back next time!

The staff was really really nice, it’s surrounded by nature and by cats so I could not be more happy. Even if the hotel is not central, it’s really closed to the town and very quiet.

The bathroom of our room could be improved (especially the space dedicated to the shower), but is the only negative thing.

Everything. A great place in a wonderful location, surrounded by nature. The lake is just lovely! The staff has been incredibly helpful, and they also offer a free ride to Ao Nang and other two beaches (one way only). We wish we could have stayed longer at Baannai!
