Absolutely nothing to dislike

What a wonderful experience, starting from the owners and employees attentiveness, to the cleanliness of the property, until the perfection of the bungalows. The owners and the employees were always ready to provide a nice smile and support, when needed. Breakfast was everyday different, with always western and Thai varieties. There was also an active request from the owner, to see if there were dietary restrictions and if anything should be adjusted. There’s no lunch or dinner available at the property. The overall property has a very relaxing atmosphere, with a very leafy garden and clean pool. The bungalow has a very spacious and luxurious feel, with a big bathroom that holds a bath and shower. The location is very quiet and nice, however if you don’t have your own car, it might be more tricky to get around. The neighbourhood has a very restaurant, “Sweet rice café”, which serves the best authentic Thai food in Sukhothai and delicious homemade ice-Cream and (on the spot made) desserts. It takes up to 3’ walk from the property. If you have a craving for a nice coffee with a light lunch, you can go to “Take a break”, which is also only a small walk away.

We loved the garden outdoor living areas. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The beds and pillows are comfortable. The pool is clean. The bicycles were very convenient to see the historic park , starting g just outside the driveway. A great base to visit Sukhothai!

Only thing we found tiny little ants in our bathroom and around the windows in our room but it didn't bother us and this seemed to be a problem in other places we stayed in Thailand as well. Other than that everything was perfect

We loved it all!

The bungalow was quiet and private. The pool was a welcome reprieve from the heat and the hammock was a lovely place to relax. The room was spacious and extremely clean. The property was well manicured and nicely located.

The bungalows were great but needed somewhere to hang your clothes, there was plenty of room for a couple of wardrobes.

Quiet location opposite rice fields, free bikes for riding, would definitely stay here again.

Can't think of anything - wished we could have stayed longer. Lyn and her staff are super hosts and made us feel at home.

Breakfast was excellent both Thai and Western. Staff inquired what our preferences were and prepared a main dish accordingly. Good variety of local fruits and sweet treats. Breakfast is served in the main lodge building which is open. Lovely to hear and see local birds including black storks. Pictures is of our 2 storey villa/cottage building. The endless pool is great as well. Open air sitting area with hammock on the ground floor. Sleeping room and bathroom with separate shower and soaking tub above. Loved the floor to ceiling windows in every room. Staff is amazing. Booked two of the cycling tours with Cycling Sukhothai through the resort. Well worth it as well.

It would have been nice if the hotel had a small bar where we could purchase drinks when relaxing in the afternoons/early evenings.

Very peaceful setting - close to rice fields and local communities. Short tuk-tuk ride (reception phoned and they arrived very quickly) to historical park and restaurants. Bikes available to borrow - we cycled about 10km along very quiet backroads through villages and rural area. Lovely pool and gardens. Beds very comfortable. Fantastic staff - could not do enough to make us welcome.

Lots to eat for breakfast but it would be nice to be given a choice eg. list to fill in. Suggestion for the future would be an honesty bar or chance to get tea or coffee during the day in the communal area round the pool.

Location is perfect for quiet cycle rides and access to the historical park. Pretty resort, lots of trees and flowers and birds. Bungalows are well equipped and we had a really lovely stay.

This is a true sanctuary in a really precious place. I loved the extra distance from town. Boys roade or walked i could get a taxi if tired. Rice fieldsbour back gate and the Wat 5 mins walk up road were very soothing and special. The staff and gardens and quiet atmosphere just perfect

The staff was wonderful, always smiling and helpful. The front-desk manager, Lin, was especially helpful. The resort was a small oasis, not far from the ruins, but a world in itself. Rooms were bright and comfortable.

BaanSuk is truly a hidden gem, run by a family with exceptional attention to detail. We loved the concept of independent rooms and cottages, each featuring its own small terrace and private outdoor space with a table, chairs, and hammock—perfect for relaxation. The pool, gardens, and communal areas were all impeccably maintained. It is located closed to the old town (around 1,5km) and free bikes are available for you to use in order to reach it within 5 minutes. The owner was incredibly helpful, offering great local recommendations. Sukhothai itself is a charming town that’s definitely worth a visit. We will absolutely return to BaanSuk whenever we next plan to explore this lovely community.

All rooms a small houses located around a swimming pool. Rooms a very spacious with a large bathroom and a patio outside. Everything is done out of very simple materials but looks super stylish. Its nice, quiet and secluded from tourist groups that roam the city. Definitely recommend.

Very nice set up. Great pool with lovely water and seating options. The huts are well proportioned with very generous bathrooms that had a large clawfoot bath. The breakfast offering was generous and offered vegan options. Staff were very helpful when we needed to cancel our last night’s stay. The young woman went out of her way to ensure we received a refund.

Small-scale resort, more like a B&B really, in a perfect, quiet location close to the historical park (less than 2km away). Huge, tasty breakfasts that kept me going until the evening. Lovely pool too ❤️
