The hostel is next to a very loud live music bar, but the hostel provided earplugs to help! No hot water.

Lady running the hostel was lovely! Location was perfect, it’s right in the middle of all the bars and restaraunts and only a short walk from the beach. Free water, tea, coffee and biscuits was a nice bonus.

It is located near a bar that plays loud music until about midnight. The give out free earplugs but can still be hard if you go to bed early or have a hard time getting to sleep. If you are out either way partying for yourself this is an amazing hostel!

1 shower and 1 toilet for around 16 people which wasn’t the main issue, there was only water running in the shower and taps for around 4 hours a day which meant you had to plan you days around showering when the water was switched on, also couldn’t wash hands after using the toilet so if you do stay here make sure you have hand sanitizer or antibacterial wipes. There’s not a lot of privacy in the dorm with curtains not closing the full way, towels and bedding wasn’t the cleanest, this also wasn’t the cheapest place we’ve stayed at and has better value for money elsewhere when traveling on a budget

Basically a store with a big window front and 2 floors connected by one staircases. With entering the let’s call it the store you are already within one dorm just decided by a curtain. I was lucky and was located on the 2nd floor but also because of the thin walls you hear the bar next door with loud music.

The space is simply too small for that many beds. Reception table is in the same room with bunk beds and the entrance to the noisy street. Only lower bunks have curtains so if you're unlucky and get a top bunk, then you'll have to basically sleep a meter away from a stranger and also bear with the freezing AC that is blasting right next to your head. There's only 1 shower+toilet room per 20+ guests and the sink is outside of the bathroom so it's a bit annoying having to brush your teeth next to people who are trying to sleep in the same room. The bar next door is playing very loud music and karaoke until 2-3am so regardless of wearing earbuds, you'll hear drunk people shouting and singing. Therefore I cannot recommend the hostel because I would have liked to be able to sleep more than a few hours per night. The hostel is also lacking a common room so its not easy to socialise and make friends here.

Location is very central and convenient, close to the main ferry port and all restaurants etc. The reception was really kind and accommodated my request to change beds which I appreciated a lot.

Negatives: The dorm room lacked space for luggage storage, which made organizing belongings tricky. The facilities were very basic, and there was almost no privacy, as only the lower bunks had curtains. Perfect spot for anyone wanting to be in the heart of the action without overspending! It’s right near the beach and nightlife party, with a bar next door, so it’s lively and fun. It can be a bit loud, but they provide earplugs. They also offer tea, coffee, snacks, and a water dispenser every day – nice little extras that make the stay even better!

EXTREMELY loud music and impossible to sleep! Booked 2 nights but left after 1 night. Live music over 100 decibels behind the wall. They know its a problem and give you earplugs. But the only thing seperating your head from a live band and people screaming is a thin wall. Cramped space. Little privacy. Music goes until 2 to 4am

Great location very close to the main beach and 6-7 min from the Ao Ton Sai pier. Yes it's just beside a live band bar but they kindly provide earplugs and honestly I slept well. Only little thing is I could slightly feel the spring on my matress but fine. Staff is very kind and arranging ! Thanks again ;)

dirty. the fan blew dust all over my bed. the air conditioning was broken. horrendously loud live music bar playing until 2am - impossible to sleep. building works with loud drilling all day - impossible to rest. the water stopped working on the last night. the bottom ‘room’ is literally a shopfront with no proper lock to the outside. only 3 bathrooms and two showers for 18 beds total. smells like mould and mildew. bed springs were sticking into me all night.

I normally refrain writing bad reviews since it effect their business however I think the owner should take proper action. The bar right next to door makes lots of loud music until 2am. I was 1 meter away from front door and it was 2-3cm sliding door so I could hear every breath the singer takes... So this place does not have proper noise isolation. That's why I couldn't sleep until music stops and I do not recommend this place if you want to sleep early for early morning activities. Also, bed sheets and bath towels were stained, only one bathrooms/shower for 8 bunk bed(16 people), the toilet had blood stains for two days and not enough toilet paper. Shower looked quite dirty and does not have hot water as well. I don't think this place deserve 7.9 rating in booking.com and owner should invest proper noise isolation, clean the facilities more frequently.
