The wifi kept going out during my stay, they seemed to be working on the electricity.

I had a great stay at Benjamin's Hut. The location is near restaurants, shops and right on the beach. The staff is so friendly and welcoming. I rented a scooter from them and had a great experience.

The dinner portions in the restaurant were quite small.

Benjamins Hut is a lovely place with very nice people and staff, I really loved that it was so close to the beach and to Samma Karuna.

Very comfortable cottages complex on the quiet beautiful beach! Huge rooms with all necessary facilities you can only imagine. My special love - hammock and table with chairs on the balcony: in rainy hours or hot midday it ist's a real salvation. Another comfortable thing is the bottles of drinking water free delivery on daily basis. The beach is clean with wite soft sand and palms, sunsets are amazing! Except restaurants on the beach also there are 7/11, lots of local cafes and massage salons in 3-5 minutes by foot on the main road.

Unfortunately when we stayed (May 2024) the swimming pool was undergoing renovation works so it was out of use. The renovation works are due to complete at the end of May 2024. We did not know the pool would be out of use before booking and we were a bit disappointed to learn of this on check in. It would be helpful if the hotel could inform guests upon booking to make this clear. The bathroom would benefit from better ventilation or waterproofing as the wall (no tiles) was often wet after showering, causing a slight smell.

The hotel is very comfortable and clean, situated on the beach. The room was a good size, we had our own outdoor space with a hammock. Housekeeping service visit every 2 days. Glass bottles of water are provided daily - a great alternative to plastic, we were really pleased about this. The staff were helpful in organising a transfer to the pier upon request.

This place absolutely exceeded expectations. From the comfortable hammocks, the modern spotless rooms, the super friendly staff, the beach restaurant with the sweetest staff, the landscaping and more. Has a very relaxing 7 days.

There was a small about of building work going on that disrupted my afternoon nap but they did limit it to only a couple of hours, and the staff were extremely kind about the situation

Right at the beach, the beach is gorgeous. The hotel is in a nice and quiet location, but a scooter is needed. Rooms were beautifully decorated.

First of all, the biggest thanks for the warm welcome to this wonderful family and team. Greetings to Paing Paing! LOCATION. Nice place not crowded with tourists. A wonderful beach. The following beaches are Zen and Secret beach. The hotel itself rents excellent motorbikes. ROOMS. Spacious and clean rooms with balconies. There were some snacks, tea, coffee, and a teapot with refrigerator in the room. But we only sleep in them, and the whole time is in wonderful nature. There are many Yoga camps around. ENVIRONMENT. The owners have created a small botanical garden, booking already older photos. Now everything is green and grown up. Tree blossoms and palm trees of amazing beauty. The beach is soft sand. The pool is big and clean, very good to recover on a hot afternoon or when the sea is out. FOOD. The kitchen is unreal! Although the menu is not extensive, you will find both European food and local Thai food. The best Tom Yum !!! Taste 10 points for all menu! Everything is made with love and aesthetic. Coctails and music in the evening the best end of the day! Best of luck to you! Your paradise oasis will remain in our vacation memories. I wish you the sweetest tourists.

The location is great, my room was sweet, clean and equiped very nicely. There is a terrace with a hammock that i love. The people are very welcoming and the beach is great with a swimming pool. I love it that its very close to secret beach.

No cold water in tap or shower but seems to be a thing all over the island.

We decided to stay longer on Koh Phangan and it was a crying shame that this place was already booked out. Hard to find anything like that for such a price. It’s a quiet, full of greenery oasis in the midst of a noisy, lively area. As long as you have a scooter it’s a perfect base. Fresh bottles of water every day, delightful touches like fairy lights on the way to the beach, cleaning when asked, really nice scooters for rent, good food at the restaurant.

I wish they would provide a better electric kettle in the room.

I needed a place to be close to my favorite bars and restaurants, supermarkets and exchange stations. so at night I would have easy access. It doesn’t have a large or good beach to swim, which I didn’t mind because you have to rent a car or bike here anyway, they have parking and I drove to my favorite beach every day. Within 15 min drive. The place was clean, little bar at the beach is good, staff were nice and helpful. I arranged the pick up from the port with them, which I recommend if it’s your first time in island. I went to different places for a beautiful sunset, but the best was Benjamin’s Hut beach.

The new villa on the beach replacing the previous very cute restaurant and var area.

Lovely family guest house, I ALWAYS come back here whenever I go to Phanghan because this place is so cosy and comfortable (the beds are soooooo nice). They changed the set up during Covid and I think the set up before was better with the restaurant on the beach. Now there is a big villa and it's a bit sad. But perfect place anyway!!

The unit is basic but comfortable. The chairs on the balcony could be more comfortable but we spent most of our time sightseeing or swimming at the beach.

Great location. Although there was no ocean view, the beach is only a few steps away. Beautiful water and not too deep where you can swim all day. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

We stayed in one of the cheapest rooms and neighbors are very close. Can be a bit noisy when it’s crowded there. Small beach area but you can always use the neighbor resort instead.

From the beach, you can witness the most incredible sunsets. The beach (and the restaurant) are amazing but the pool is a nice extra aswel! The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the rooms are basic but adequate. The staff is very friendly. We rented a scooter on-site, and everything went smoothly. It's nice to be able to drive to the restaurants and bars nearby. We would definitely come back to Benjamin's hut.
