The best hostel I stayed in in South East Asia! Really nice vibe and people, the events each night we so fun. It’s right on the beach and you can rent scooters from the hostel to get around the island. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Will definitely be coming back!

I really enjoyed my stay here! Large outdoor area, where you can easily socialize with others or be by yourself if you need that. Daily events in the evening which is super. They also arrange 4 island trips, which I really recommend. I booked van + ferry to my next destination which was so easy. I did not rent a motorbike, which I thought was totally fine. You can walk to the beach, restaurants and 7/11. I also really liked that they had 2 toilets and 2 showers in the 8-dorm bedroom. It is very clean.

The beds don’t have curtains.

The staff were lovely, they made the stay 10x better. The location is good, really close to the beach. Really nice to have a pool. Very social and lot of activities organised.

Outdoor hangout area was also a smoking area, plasticky mattress with very loud creaking of metal bunk beds, loud lockers (creaky metal hinges whenever anyone opened or closed them), little storage in bunk area, AC didn't work very well so the room was HOT and the AC is off all day so you can't comfortably hang out in the room, no privacy curtains on beds, passport required during entire stay or photocopy of passport and 2000 baht (hefty deposit and I've NEVER stayed anywhere that's required to keep my passport during my stay - very weird). No kitchen or place to make your own food/coffee (there is a restaurant), It's a youth hostel with a drinking culture so the room was loud at odd hours including a drunk couple in my room

location was good, big lockers under bed, social scene is nice, pool, free towel, cheap water from a cooler (10 baht to fill a big water bottle), staff is nice, the room + bathrooms were cleaned every day

Nothing, loved everything!!!

Absolutely loved our stay at Blanco!! Our favourite hostel in Thailand so far. Our room of 8 was always cleaned daily and super comfortable, had 2 bathrooms to share also. The staff were really great, super helpful and friendly, heaps of different common areas (chill and social areas), access to different games and pool table. Events every night so it was super easy to meet people. Location was right next to the beach but I would recommend hire a bike for Koh lanta otherwise hard to get around. We hired bikes from the hostel and had no issues, they also give free lessons if you don’t know how to ride. Also had our laundry done through the hostel as well as booked transport and no issues. The tattoo guy at the shop was super friendly also and did great work. Throughly enjoyed our stay here and would recommend to anyone.

The floor around the pool was never cleaned The relaxing mattrasses were dirty and old The (local) staff is pretty rude and are not a good representation of the nice Thai people in general No privacy / curtains in the rooms + too cold at night because of the airconditioning The hostel food got me and other travelers sick Although they state only to receive guests between 18 and 35 years old, there was a guy staying in the dorm that was clearly over 50 years old. Now I do not mind but I can imagine it's not really nice for young girls... Even though I came back, this was my last time. The rudeness of the local staff (a lot the times they would just ignore me standing and waiting at the bar or reception, no "goodday" or "goodmorning" or "thanks for staying again") diminished the experience. It's a bit like they're fed up with the travelers or just fed up with their work - I can't say.

The rooms were really small and had no privacy at all. Just put up some drapes and it would have been so much better. At the moment you are laying and looking into the other's bed plus that people are using your bed when you are not there.

The place was really nicely located so you could easily get anywhere, the hostel rented out scooters for a good price. Friendly atmosphere.

Amazing hostel if you want to chill out, meet people and/or party! It's got loads of stuff to do, cheap scooter rental and is only a two minute walk from the beach. Both the local staff and reps are friendly and helpful, and they organise great social events. The dorms are also very clean, comfortable and secure. The shared toilets outside the 6-bed dorms smelt a little bit at points but this was likely just due to the heat and high use during peak season. They were otherwise very clean.

This is one of the best hostels I’ve ever been to! The location in Koh Lanta is perfect. The vibes in the hostel during the day are super chilled, with a great social party vibe in the evening. Dani, Shannon, Boz & Benz are the best staff you would ever ask for!! I miss you guys, I’ll be back 🫶🏻

I wish they had curtains on the bunk beds and more hangers to hang your stuff in the room (even if you also can use the space outside in the common area). It’s too loud to work with a laptop during the day. Some staff seemed not that friendly, but all expat workers were amazing!!!

I liked the social area with the pool, the dining/party area, where people gathered and socialized. Super chill music and very relaxing atmosphere during the day.
