Walls are very thin if you’re a light sleeper. Lots of stairs but we were happy to get the exercise!

Amazing view! Very clean room. Excellent air con. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They met us at the pier to carry our bags.

a lotttt of stairs to get to our room, located on a hill. although the stuff helped with our luggage, you always need to think twice before leaving the room. not a fun walk when it’s hot outside or when you’re drunk;)

a lot of steps going up to the acomm, can be extremely hard in the heat, we couldn’t go back and forth to the room throughout the day because the steps were to much and we are quite fit people. bit overpriced for the room as it’s very very basic could do with a revamp especially for the price of this place

The beds were too hard for us personally. It was fairly noisy but we did have ear plugs so this can be helped. The hairdryer was broken. We were aware of the steps beforehand but they are quite arduous especially in the heat! It was fair though for the price we paid.

The staff were very welcoming by all accounts. The room was clean and probably what you can expect from a budget hotel. Staff also kindly assisted with our big bags up and down the many steps upon checking in and out.

The staff is very kind. The hotel pick you up once you arrive on the Island 🏝️ and help you with your luggage. The hotel is the very high up so you need to climb many, many steps, be ready for that.

The stairs are a pro and a con.

The hosts were beautiful with us, always helping. The location is good on side (far from the music so you can sleep) but on the hill and a lot of steps to do. we loved the fact that a porter helped with the luggage.

Smell of mold, shower was really inconvenient, bed was broken and sheets were uncomfortable, it felt like an earthquake when neihgbour was walking in upstairs apartment. Takes over 100 stairs from street to our room so we wouldnt recommend if your not fit.

A lovely hotel that was great value for money. The room was clean and there was plenty of space. The view from the balcony was gorgeous and makes this a must-stay hotel. The lady at the front desk was so welcoming and even sent us off with a Koh Phi Phi postcard when we checked out. Highly recommend.

A few things. Like other reviews have said, the walls between rooms are super thin - you can hear all noises made by your neighbours, including certain bodily functions… not pleasant and god forbid you have noisy neighbours. Unfortunately the thin walls mean smells also transfer between rooms - ours regularly stank of cannabis because our neighbour kept smoking it in his room and it seemed to drift under the interconnecting door… again not pleasant. The locks on the external balcony doors are also very flimsy - ours broke during our stay so the maintenance man had to come fix it (he was great and did it very quickly, which I guess is a positive). The safe in the room also stopped working - batteries seemed to have run out. Also there were 170 steps up to our room which was not a problem for us but something to be aware of… and we weren’t even at the top! Also when on the balcony, despite being so high up, the smell of sewage from lower down in the town was still quite strong so we got limited enjoyment from sitting out there.

This place is for backpackers/budget travellers. I think online it looks like it is a lot more luxurious than it actually is and the price is a bit misleading too, but everything is expensive on Phi Phi. I think once you know this, the hotel will meet your expectations. It’s a little rough around the edges and rustic, but the views really are great from the balcony if you choose the option with a sea view.

The only way to access the top rooms is via stairs which can be a little exhausting but they have the number of calories burned on every few steps to keep you motivated. You also need to stay fit to stay in Phi Phi since you have to walk everywhere so it’s good practice. If you want to enjoy the view, you have to suck it up. 😂 The staff also picks you up from the pier and drops your luggage till your room which is a huge help.

There was nothing to dislike. The staff was the sweetest and most welcoming. They fulfilled every single one of our requests and went above and beyond to make our stay the best. So much so that we even extended our stay a day more because we loved it so much. The room had all the facilities one requires. The view was to die for. None can compare. Wonderful service and stay. I would highly recommend! Do tip the staff because they work very very hard to give you the best service!

The room was extremely spacious and bright with big windows, air conditioning and the best view I have ever had from a hotel room. Very clean, comfortable and free water from reception. Totally recommend! Also good for burning calories as you have to conquer a few stairs!

Room is small and not good value for what you pay for. the amount of stairs is ridiculous. we were on the top floor rooms which meant climbing hundreds of stairs which was a little dangerous at night as they are very steep. asked for room to be cleaned and we came back at 3.45 and the room hadn’t been cleaned so we just asked for new towels . overall the value for money is bad for what you get but that’s everywhere on phi phi. mosquitos everywhere on the island

The soundproofing between rooms isn't amazing.

The views are stunning - definitely worth paying the little extra for a sea view. Lovely balcony to enjoy the sunset and have a beer before heading out. The couple who run the place are also lovely.

The view was outstanding, the staff was very polite and helpful, all guests receive lots od drinking water at check in. The room has AC and a big balcony, also tea and coffee inside. The bed was huge and comfortable, there was lots of space for belingings and clothes (shelves, tables, etc.)

The party music from the beach stopped me from sleeping properly but it would have been a lot worse staying in a hotel at the bottom of the hill!

A fantastic stay! lovely staff, beautiful location and clean, lovely rooms. There are lots of steps leading up to reception and the rooms, but as long as you are physically able it’s not a problem. Just something to bear in mind :)
