Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SerbiaNoise, although kinda expected so it wasn't bothering us, but balcony is almost useless and faces the wall, small things such a night table missing and lightning was bad, so the room was kinda way too dark during the night. Pool works only until 8pm, which is sad when it's such a hot weather.
Location is awesome, very clean and spacy, staff was extremely pleasant. You have everything you need around the hotel working 24/7.

VietnamYou can’t get away from the noise of Khao San Road. If you’re out there having fun until 4am it won’t bother you. Otherwise take ear plugs.
Beautiful rooms, although the connecting door meant I could hear everything going on next door. The place is full of young couples… The rooftop pool is a great asset. There’s also a gym and you get discounts at a number of places nearby. Super easy walking to all the sights - grand palace, river, museums, the canal to the Jim Thompson house - as well as a million bars and restaurants of all types. Cheapest street food to $15 craft beer.

United KingdomExtremely noisy in the evening until around 3.30 am
This hotel is bang in the middle of Khaosan road You need to be aware that this road is extremely noisy at nighttime. Bars play extremely loud music. We aren’t usually bothered by noise but from our room on the 4th floor it was still very loud and difficult to sleep This isn’t the fault of the hotel, it’s just the location. The hotel itself is pretty good. Integrated shops on ground floor are handy and the rooftop pool is nice enough

Location: the hotel is on the Khaosan Road itself. Everyday party till dawn :-) Good swimming pool.

DenmarkThe noise from the street was too loud, so we couldn’t sleep at night. But maybe other rooms were better for that.
Great location, if you want to party. It’s right in the middle of the party.

ItalyIn the evening its very loud. I recommend buying earplugs at 7-Eleven. Or request a room at the back of the hotel.
You get 2 bottles of water per day. Additionally, there was a 7-Eleven, ATM, an Irish bar, a restaurant, and a McDonald’s in the same building. Nice Pool and Gym!

United StatesNot really much. Only thing is wifi is very slow. However you can work it around with an esim anyway which costs $20 per 20Gb and problem solved. Also, for us it was nit a problem, but you should know that the place is noisy, surrounded by bars with music up to 4am. I put this comment here for people to know, again, it was not an issue for ys, and the noise was not really so bad as i saw in other reviews.
The location is excellent in the middle of khaosan rd. It is course noisy, but not a problem for us as we expected it. We enjoyed the pool a lot, coming back from excursions, and before going out at night. The bed was very comfortable. Grabs taxis on the corner, super convenient. A free water bottle per person per day . With elevator. We asked for sugar and coffee, we got them in 5 minutes.

United StatesLoud noise Extra firm mattresses
It was a good location to get to all the attractions we wanted to go to but we were naïve that Khaosan road is an all night party with loud music until 6:00 am. If you’re wanting to party all night this is the place. If you want to sleep between midnight and 6:00 am I would not recommend. The hotel itself was adequate and comfortable other than the extra extra firm mattresses

PolandLocalisation at Khaosan Road - we did not know it’s so loud, 3 parties at the same time until 4am. Had to sleep in earplugs and with pillow on our heads. The windows are not isolating the noise from the street
Nice design of the room, swimming pool and localisation (shops and restaurants, especially that we are vegan)

SpainIt’s too loud. There’s a club on the ground floor of the hotel, and the music leaks into the rooms… I didn’t bother me much, because I booked knowing Khaosan Road is loud anyway.

EstoniaThe pool area had not enough sunbeds for the guests and the sun did not even touch them eighter, they were mainly in the shade.
The location had its up and down sides. It is interesting to see this main street this close, everything is right there! But the noise level during the night till 4-5 AM is something You can not imagine and it is not just tge high volume but you also feel it, literally, the noise is simply shaking the bed.
