Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GermanyWe really enjoyed our stay here! Especially with the staff being super friendly and helpful! The location of the hotel was really nice since you can easily walk to Fisherman’s Village and also have a ton of restaurant options within walking distance! Sadly the Beach could use some work since the laying there is almost like laying in a hill because of all the sand being shifted around because of the higher waters. There also aren’t any umbrellas down by the beach so laying there before 2/3 pm is almost impossible because of the no shade situation. And all in all there are some areas that could use some maintenance such as the infinity pool. Another little aspect that wasn’t too nice is the fact that whenever we had the A/C going for a little longer our room started smelling a bit like the sewerage. But other than that we were really happy with our stay!

AustraliaSome difficulty getting more clean drinking water, had to keep asking especially if we didn't need our room serviced for anything else. Not a big deal, just would be good to simply deliver fresh water every morning
Amazing base from which to explore Fishermans village and beaches. Great breakfast, staff were very friendly and helpful.

United KingdomThe restaurant is quite expensive for Thailand and the breakfast was not to our taste but did have plenty of options and the omelette station was great.
Loved our stay at Celes! The resort is gorgeous and everyone was so helpful and friendly. It was nice to have 3 pools to choose from and access straight onto the beach. Such a haven.

AustraliaA few very minor things. The local restaurant is a little overpriced compared to similar offers in the area. The room needs a better solution to dry towels and swimmers. Pool towels are provided and replaced every day but not before 3pm. Breakfast buffet is very good but pancakes are not made on the spot so they are pretty hard and stale. Papaya and mango were also missing most mornings.
Exceptional facilities overall. The room is large, the beds are massive (much larger than a king bed), pool and facilities are spectacular, everything is new and nicely designed. Staff very kind and professional, landscaping and cleanliness are impeccable.

SwedenThere was one thing that we found really disturbing throughout the stay. The fact that every single morning, some guests would occupy the sun beds by the pools with a beach towel long before they would actually use it. That made it very hard for others and us to find available sun beds when we would have liked to really spend time by the pools. So we often ended up looking frustrated at the empty occupied sun beds. This happened in other hotels too, however we saw that the hotels can get a bit involved into the matter and make some courtesy rules at the pool so that everyone can have a chance to enjoy some time there. Anyways this didn't ruin our stay but it was a trigger to get irritated because it happened every day.
We loved our stay there! Everything was great, starting from the staff that were very friendly and attentive while in the same time discrete and offering you privacy. The room was very clean and comfortable and in good shape. The breakfast was excellent and fresh with lots of choices every day. Lovely green garden, beautiful palm trees along the beach, fantastic beach views from both restaurants and one pool. Great massage at the spa, worth spending more money on than the ones outside. We enjoyed every day!

Isle of ManWould of been a 10 but I was planning to propose to my girlfriend and asked staff at reception for help, thinking they could set something up maybe make it romantic and all I got was “oooo we don’t know”….and gave me 2 destinations miles away, when my plan was to do it at the hotel cause it seemed like the perfect place
Everything was perfect, the location was only a short walk from the lively fisherman’s village….beach was nice and quiet…pools were good….breakfast was lovely….room was great and cleaned everyday…staff were nice

United KingdomWe were separated from our sons room and they were put at the completely other end of the complex which was about a 10 minute walk. They wouldn’t give us clean towels at reception or bar area, we were told we had to leave it in the basket in our room to be swapped so that was a bit frustrating.
Great location on the beach and close enough to walk into fisherman’s village.

United KingdomOur room was a bit close to the main road so there was some traffic noise but it didn’t spoil our stay.
This is our 2nd time at this hotel and have chosen it once more due to its excellent location, it’s clean and comfortable with a fantastic breakfast. A great choice of food too. Loved the fact there are 3 swimming pools to choose from and the views overlooking the sea are stunning. You’re about a 20 minute walk to Fisherman’s Village but the hotel also offers a free shuttle. We stayed in a Tropical Deluxe room which was very spacious and was cleaned every day. Fantastic shower and bathroom too. Free pool towels, flip flops and beach bag to use whilst you’re here.
