The location is amazing! Right on the most beautiful beach on the island. The staff were supper nice and friendly, the room was clean with the best view. We stayed 10 nights in Kohn Samui, the first 8 nights we spent in two different 5 star hotels and the last two night at Crystal Bay, and our favorite from all three hotels was Crystal Bay. The room, service, food, everything was high quality.

Sink broke, moved, 2 hours to sister hotel on same beach. It happens! Beach full of plastic when tide went out such a shame.

Nothing really. Fairly shady over sun loungers, but this is actually a good thing. Go lie in the sun on the beach and retreat to the shade and escape the masses on the beach.

We got a room on the ground floor right next to the staff room so we were woken up in the morning by cleaners getting their supplies, speaking on the walkie talkie and moving stuff around. Also the ground floor is sort of a lower ground floor so not much light in the room.

It's right next to the beach and the room is quite big. There were free toiletries and sun beds in front of the property overlooking the beach, which is great. Breakfast is available at the restaurant.

On a cliff overlooking the rough and rowdy Silver Beach (actually a bay). Rooms with beach views are huge and spectacular. Also, moon rising on a clear night. Clean, comfortable and quiet at night.

The shower was a bit of a let down but in the heat we weren't after that many hot showers anyway! Another thing was the sundeck that is covered in shade throughout the day, for us after a tan we found ourselves laying on the beach instead, which wasn't an issue for us but might be for you!

Excellent location right on the beach, near to some excellent restaurants as well. The staff was very helpful for check in and organised a transfer for a very reasonable price. The beach and the nice view was the highlight, something to enjoy over a nice drink at the bar! If you are after snacks or something else to drink there is also a 7/12 a few minutes away! The breakfast was good but a bit mixed with absolutely perfect scrambled eggs but other parts less so it is a menu based breakfast with some limited variety. The room was good, with a nice bed, although my partner found it a bit too hard but I liked it quite a bit. The bathroom was a bit mixed with a electronic heated shower that worked a bit on and off so long warm showers was a bit tricky... Highly recommend the massage! With a super good price and superb ambiance from the waves rolling in! Overall I would recommend staying at Crystal Bay, a great value relaxing experience!

Limited places to eat and everything closes by 1000pm

Big room and ours had a small balcony overlooking the beautiful beach. Loved that it had a clothes airer and 24hour pool access. Not far from Lamai and Chaweng with reliable taxi access through reception. Great place if you like to be away from the bustle of shops and craziness but close enough to head to the more touristy places. Plenty of spots for a nice massage.
