Breakfast buffet was good. Staff were very accommodating for the Thai half of my family who didn’t want the Western buffet. Very nice!

The upgrade from the standard room to the deluxe room with jacuzzi was a great addition to the room. Loved it, however the ongoing call from the telephone disturbs my sleep each morning. They changed the phone but it still rang afterwards. So it was the main annoyance which greatly decrease the quality of the stay. The breakfast wasn’t really up to anything really good. I would say. The location not the best either you would need any type of transport like scooter to get around or relying on grab or taxi.

The environment is beautiful is a very big resort, the pools are beautiful y very nice! We took a kayak ( the hotel provides them) and went around. The staff were lovely and very helpful.

The only negative I have is that the rooms didn’t get a massive clean daily, more just a little spruce. Bins changed and bed made but it kind of felt like that was it. Also, the majority of the staff were extremely friendly but there was one girl on reception who was quite sour.

The hotel is very peaceful and aesthetically pleasing. We had a swim up room which was fantastic. Our terrace was great and the pool was lovely and large. The bedroom was very spacious and the bathroom was brilliant. The pool by the beach was also great and the beach area was lovely. People say that there isn’t much around but very close by there’s a very cool temple and a fair few brilliant local restaurants around and then in a 15 min walk you have some very fancy sunset facing restaurants and also the Big Buddha.

We had a lovely time at Deva, we found the pool and room fantastic. The staff were helpful and the breakfast was OK. The beds were very firm though and the pillows weren’t great.

The pool bar was outdated and not in use.

The food was not that great, breakfast was just average. Reception staff did not seem too friendly.

The villa room was nice, clean and comfortable. The bath, the shower and the outdoor shower.

Deva Resort is a great sized resort and excellent value for the money. It is small enough for personal service but has all the amenities of a larger resort. We found the location was perfect for our grandson with the protected beach and swimming pools. We had a poolside deluxe villa which was very spacious.

Not a lot. Was a shame the pool for the swim up rooms wasn’t exclusive.

Lovely swim up room, outstanding bathroom. Resort itself was very pretty with beautiful plants and trees throughout and a steam with koi and waterlilies running through it. Staff very friendly and obliging. There’s not much you can walk to from the resort but very conveniently there is a taxi firm opposite so they can take you to wherever you need to go.

Location is not as close to the main activities of the cities as I would have hoped, but it is quite near some cool temples. Hotel beach is nice to look at, but it is full of tar and deep mud when you go inside, best to go to different beach.

Great place, 3 different pools, training room, our room had pool access and a nice place in the shade. When something didn't work they fixed it in a few minutes, we even took a Kayak from the hotel on their beach

The mattress is very old! Low-level breakfast. The hotel is 7 km away from the center.

Location is a bit away from restaurants. Breakfast needs to be improved. I am surprised how such a beautiful resort would not invest on breakfast so they would get much higher evaluations.

If I really have to be critical, the room that we had was on the corner which did not see any sun, so the room smelled a little damp. But having the corner room was also a plus for privacy reasons, so not a big issue for us. Food at the hotel was slightly on the expensive side and not that good, which could be improved. Even though it is a beach-front property, the beach is not swimmable, no-one swims there. We ended up going to Cheongmon beach, which was beautiful. However, sunset from this property was gorgeous.

The property overall was really nice, and value for money. We had the pool access room and it was gorgeous and totally worth it. They had 2 pools adjoining the buildings with pool access rooms and another one by the restaurant overlooking the beach. Massive room and bathroom with a tub. Patio area was also nice with a day-bed. There is a 7-eleven in about 5 mins walking distance, which is a plus when you want to get some cheap food and snacks. This hotel is little out of the main hustle and bustle of Koh Samui, which is nice if you want some peace. But for those who want to go to other areas, traveling to main areas could be a little annoying and grab/bolts can be very expensive in general in Koh Samui. But if you rent a scooter to go around that wont be an issue.

The restaurant meals for dinner was terrible - we ordered steak the first night it was tough and inedible not cooked great so we wouldnt eat there again waste of money the reception team are not very friendly and there was no welcome drink like we have had at other hotels of similar ratings the sea isn’t suitable to swim or bathe

Quite tired. Standard bedroom was not a pleasant place to be, next to a noisy road and up two large flights of stairs with no lift.

The food in restaurant wasn’t very good or well cooked . I had lunch and dinner there and it wasn’t very good . I couldn’t eat the fish and vegetables.
