Reception staff were very helpful and pleasant to talk to. They went out of the way to go online to purchase Bus Tickets from Cha Am to Suvarnabhoomi Airport. They also helped in booking a Rapido for going to Bank for changing money.

The room we had was a bit dated - the bathroom had newish tiles retrofitted around old doors and the chipboard cabinets in the room were losing their covering in places; it was clean though. I noticed a few painters going in and out of rooms on other floors, so maybe the place is getting a freshen up.

The communal areas of the hotel were modern, sleek and clean. The swimming pool was nice and I spotted a gym next to it (but didn't use it). The location really couldn't be better. The beach is just across the road from the front of the hotel. In the evening, street food stalls set up along the road just down from the front of the hotel.

All the previous reviews were accurate- it’s an old out-dated hotel but functional with amazing location. The lifts are slow and take forever. The beds are too soft and pillows overstuffed and hard- not comfortable or good for backs. Also only one pillow per person provided. The Aircon and hot water didn’t work in our suite and so we had to have repairmen in on day 2 to fix it all. But then it did improve but still with the proviso of having to turn it on a certain way for a certain time etc. so it’s just not a hotel where you can switch off and relax. But the staff were sweet and very helpful/ patient with our kids. And so for the sake of location and cost - we’d probably come back, but we’d look for other good value options first.

Location was amazing- direct access to a great beach, cheap food stalls/ market and good restaurants. Pool was clean and awesome. Breakfast buffet was decent- no bacon but had ham and chicken. They have a kids play room suitable for toddlers. Lots of Thai TV channels, honest housekeeping. They provided a cot free of charge.

The facility was fine but at night the hotel turned off all the lights!!! so scary. Also, breakfast, at one time the staff watched what we bring to the room! Only a few bread they asked we don't bring. We booked 3 rooms for 3 nights and we had over 11 people in our groups , why worry for just a few pieces of bread??? Also, the room seems to have sewer smell in the bath tub area.

I like the location being centralized and also the pool was lovely.

One key linked to electricity for 2 bedroom apartment is very inconvenient. Restaurant closed so no service at pool. No attendant at pool and only one working umbrella.

The hotel was probably a luxurious place in the past. The rooms need renovation. We had a good price which was OK for the room standard. Could have been more choice at breakfast. The concierge was a little arrogant. Expected more tip than we gave. Very busy beach but probably because we visited at the weekend, therefore lots of traffic and coaches.

The room was spacious but devoid of any decent furniture. No power points near the bed and only 1 other that I found. But it was so loose it could not hold my USB charger. I managed by putting something heavy against it to stop it falling out but those power points need replacing.

lovely location slightly north on the best part of Cha Am beach which was not overcrowded. Lights on either side of bed. Great breakfast choices.

Reception couldn't or wouldn't organise me a bike hire, car hire or even a taxi. Had to go on the street to try & find one & not speaking Thai was tricky.

To much to list from WIFi being very bad unsecured, anyone from the area could log in and get your information. Water pressure was terrible not consistent one min you would showering and it elavat to scolding hot. Had lunch in there restaurant the waiting staff was great the cook was in the back cooking my food then I could hear him coughing and coughing came to the front where I could see him no mask on and coughing on my food food was brought to table and I said something to the waiter and only eat the French fries could not eat anything else, told the front desk and they said they would tell manager. Just an old hotel that has not kept up normal maintenance restaurant shut down 7:30pm. The breakfast buffet is not good Signs are all in Thailand.
