The first night I stayed in a "Double Room with Private Bathroom". The room was not large enough with little space for luggage and lap top desk. The windows opened to a tall white wall. Somehow boring. There was also a number of sharp steps to get to the first floor. Then they offered me to take a "Deluxe Double Room" with 10% additional charge. The new room was quite large with a balcony and very nice view from the window and also with elevator access. Indeed, the new room was in a second building next to the main one. Surely it was worth taking the second room even with paying a small additional charge as I was to stay for four more nights. I didn't like the position of shower area in the bathroom. It could be changed by the toilet position so that the other part of the bathroom remains dry after every shower. If you plan to reach the hostel by public transport, you must be careful about how to find its location in the first time particularly for the last part which you have to go by walking. Even don't trust google map, as it guided me through a very strange path just next to a railroad. The best way I think is to follow exactly the paths recommended by the hostel itself.

Friendly and supportive staff. Very clean (both room and common areas). Beautiful, quiet and green yard which is used as the lobby too. Despite being located in a busy area of the city, the hostel is in an alley away from the noisy streets. The quality of this accommodation is much better than many hotels in other countries and I don't know why they call it hostel and not hotel.

Our room became very smelly (I.e. human waste) a few times during our stay. We’re not sure if this was from something within the room itself or an outside smell through the window (though they were shut). It didn’t last too long but wasn’t pleasant either way!

Very spacious, convenient location, relaxing common area and friendly staff. Just be mindful that it’s located in an ally so if you’re taking a taxi it will be a bit inconvenient.

The only minus would be the lack of soundproofing, we could hear other loud guests in the hall a little too well.

Everything was absolutely wonderful, we could see how wisely and thoroughly everything about this place had been thought through. Wonderful to have such a tastefully decorated, well maintained and clean place, with light blinging curtains and other details carefully chosen. Superb location! The communication was easy and very pleasant!

I am a returning customer. I have stayed here 3 times before Covid -19 and now coming back. It’s so good to see familiar faces so provides you same best service. Imagine staff you have met 4 years ago are still working there at the facility. I guess owners treat them well with respect. All time my favorite hostel. And you can eat everything cheap around petchburi soi.

Payment was by cash only. Staff spoke very little to no English which made communication a bit difficult. Staff used Google Translate to communicate which worked ok. There were some flies in our room on the first day but these went after the first day.

Good location to be able to access everything in Bangkok. The walk to the hostel is a bit far from the BTS station but it is through a nice, local neighbourhood which is very quiet and charming. The hostel is close to lots of different bus lines which can take you to the main sights in the city which was very useful and we used a lot. It didn’t take us too long to get to the hostel from the airport by public transport. Nice room with good Wi-Fi, AC and hot water, as well as a big fridge and kettle. Bed was very comfy. We received 2 bottles of water every day. We arrived early and couldn’t check into our room but we were able to leave our bags at reception and check in later.

Of the minuses: residents in neighboring rooms, who sometimes forget that they are not at home and can behave a little selfishly, especially if they have a late check-in or early check-out: the patter of feet and the noise of suitcases being hurriedly dragged along the floor, then Another pleasure in the morning or at night. But this is not the hotel's fault.

Great location. Great service. Very friendly and polite staff. All questions and requests are responded to very quickly. It's very quiet around. For the city center this is simply an unaffordable luxury. Nearby there is a street with all sorts of goodies and several 7/11 stores, and if you go out into the street with food and at the intersection turn left and go a little deeper, you can find a wonderful cafe with very tasty rolls. At the same intersection there are guys selling the most delicious powdered chocolate donuts in the world. I recommend this hotel 10 out of 10.

I had the room right under the stairs and it was a bit loud whenever someone walked upstairs. That said, overall it was quiet and I slept great.

Very friendly and helpful staff! The location is lovely and walkable to a lot of food. Very short grab bike rides to anything you want to go to in DT Bangkok.

Loved it all

We wanted to stay in this (great) neighborhood and chose Greenery cuz of the cheapest price we found for a double. It was much beyond we expected! The Room was big and very clean. it was also cleaned everyday while we were out. It was comfortable with a lot of hangers and shelves to put our stuff on. Super comfi bed with white clean sheets and a good blanket to cover when you sleep with the great AC :)

I really enjoyed my stay at greenery hostel! It is far cuter than the pictures show, very clean, great a/c and hot shower! I really liked the location as it is so close to many street food stalls (great if your budget backpacker) restaurants and 7/11s and also not too far from the train station to adventure to other parts of the It was really easy to find and there is also a sign on the street to direct you. The staff are helpful and nice and the overall place has a nice relaxing vibe.. access to washing machine and clothes dry within a day.I was reluctant to book because of previous reviews but I’m glad I did and I actually stayed two nights extra nights. I thought it was good value for money in comparison to other places.. I think sometimes people forget that it is a hostel and not a 5 star hotel and maybe review unfairly.. anyway thumbs up from me and I would stay again :)

Clean, comfortable, easy check-in.A wonderfull refrigerator and kettle were available as well. Good shower. I came early, and the room was already and I was allowed to check in. That was so nice! I liked the vibe and I liked the area also. And I was able to do my laundry! A local neighborhood with 3! seven elevens, pharmacy foodstalls and easy access to busses and BTS. Will definitely come back here. Thank you for the wonderfull stay🙏🏽

The room we had opened right onto the foyer / common area so there was a bit of noise. Quiet during the night though.

Lovely little room, nicely decorated. Very clean. Great shower. Very good, quiet a/c. Very helpful friendly staff. Good supply of books to swap in the common area. The hostel is just a few minutes from an interesting, busy street of shops and places to eat.
