Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. If you have trouble with car noise, this may not be the place for you. The owner provides earplugs, though. We slept well even without the earplug.
Owner was very nice! Went out of his way to accommodate our night time arrival and departure. Bed and pillows were very comfortable. Very close to the airport, maybe a 10 minute ride. Very clean showers and rooms.

Great stay. Arrived late into Bangkok and left on a super early flight. The hospitality of staff was a standout! Clean and private rooms.

Could be loud as on a main road close to airport. They do however provide ear plugs.
Close to airport, transfer 120-140 baht. Very clean and mother and son very helpful.

It is near the road so you would here the cars but its okay coz they provide earplugs

A very cozy hostel, just 10 min. by taxi to the terminal. The host was absolutely lovely and greeted me with a cold bottle of water and a warm welcome, highly appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable and I’d come back anytime 😀

There were ants coming out of the power outlet in our room and next to the toilets

At the price there is nothing to complain about. The room was a little noisy but earplugs are offered and the street is pretty quiet overnight. The room could use a chair, but you can sit in the common area I suppose.
I needed a cheap room close to the airport at short notice. Happy with my choice. Clean, very friendly owners, air con, a little sitting area. Bed was okay, quite acceptable. Toilet/showers clean.

Not a lot of dining options in the immediate area.
Owners were very helpful and extremely friendly. They will go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable and have everything you need. Our friends and I had 2 rooms on the second floor where we had our own lounge area and 2 separate toilets and a shower.

There was some traffic noise. They provided ear plugs.
We were a little uncertain about the property from the outside, but the owners are just the most warm and welcoming people! The hostel is exceptionally clean and our room was basic, but comfortable. Our room was on the first floor up and there were two stalls with toilets, 2 sinks and a room with a shower just outside our room. There was also a small common area.

There was no bedside table (but this is the same as the picture so no surprise there)
For us the highlight of this place was the owner which was so friendly and helpful, he made our stay very enjoyable! The place is very close to the airport which is very convenient and there is a 7/11 nearby. I was not bothered by the noise from the road outside and slept well. The owner also provide earplugs if needed.
