This accommodation was awesome. We were a couple who stayed in the dorm room. The property was clean, the staff were really friendly and happy to help or talk at any time. I was surprised how much we loved this hostel because we are in our 30’s and this hostel made us feel as though we COULD stay in a lively environment despite music playing at night and lots of people around. This was a friendly and welcoming party hostel. The great thing is the music was off usually around or before midnight so sleeping wasn’t a huge issue for us. We stayed on Xmas eve and they provided for free a dinner buffet for all guest which was a beautiful gesture. THIS IS THE PERFECT PLACE TO STAY IF YOU WANT TO EXPERIENCE THE FULL MOON PARTY. Unfortunately we got our dates wrong and ended up staying elsewhere for the full moon night, because of that we truly appreciated our experience at the HideOut hostel.

The staff were amazing! They really went out of there way to make sure we felt safe and comfortable whilst staying. They joined in activities with us. The rooms and beds got cleaned everyday which is rare for hostels so it was a really nice thing! I definitely recommend staying here and it’s in a really good location for all of the party’s and close to a lot of beaches. The hostel give advice and sell tickets for events and party’s and also hold pre drinks. A lot of guests from other hostels came to Hideout before going out as they atmosphere is just unmatched!

There is a lot of positive points I want to say about this place. When checking in you quickly notice the friendly atmosphere, it’s very welcoming. Upon entering my room I noticed how clean it was so was very happy with this. I ordered food from this hostel a lot of the time it didn’t miss. 10/10, recommend the massaman curry. Alternatively there is a very good restaurant at the end of the road from the hostel towards the beach on the left. About 8 o’clock everyone started partying and the staff looked out for everyone, it was the safest me and my friends felt on the island. People were partying and also playing the Xbox. It generally was the best. The music was great and the drinks quality was even better. Genrally couldn’t be happier with my stay and the memories hideout hostel helped create. Massive thank you to Daniel and the rest of the staff, I’m looking forward to visiting again in the future. One love Mitchell ☮️

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm smiles and a friendly atmosphere that made me feel right at home. One of the standout features of Hideout Hostel is its incredible owner, Daniel. His passion for hospitality and dedication to ensuring his guests have an amazing stay is truly commendable. Daniel went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed, from providing helpful local tips to organizing exciting activities and events. Speaking of events, Hideout Hostel is renowned for its epic Full Moon Party celebrations. As a solo traveler, I was thrilled to have the opportunity to join in on the festivities with fellow guests and locals alike. The hostel's prime location near Haad Rin Beach meant that we were just a short walk away from the heart of the action, making it incredibly convenient and safe to enjoy the world-famous party. What sets Hideout Hostel apart from other accommodations is its emphasis on creating a social and vibrant atmosphere. The communal areas, such as the cozy lounge and spacious outdoor terrace, were perfect for meeting fellow travelers and sharing stories over a few drinks.

Hideout is a great hostel … 5min walk to 2 beaches and the center … staff and rooms are one of the best in a hostel! The community area with pooltable, kicker, airhockey and a lot board games keeps you always busy… staff is also great and help with everything!

Daniel and his fantastic staff truly distinguish the hostel. My stay was made exceptional by their genuine hospitality and eagerness to assist with anything I required. The location is excellent; they have a nice restaurant inside the hostel, and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and the food was delicious.

The cleanliness of the hostel is commendable, and the common areas are well-designed for socializing or enjoying some downtime. The dorm rooms were comfortable, and the facilities were always tidy. One of the standout features was the sense of community fostered by Daniel and his team. They organize regular events and activities, creating opportunities for guests to connect and share their travel experiences. If you're looking for a hostel that feels like a home away from home, with fantastic people at the helm, Hideout Hostel is the place to be. Very fun hostel with great staff and lots of events. I stayed for several nights in a 4 bed dorm and it was comfortable and relaxing when not partying. I stayed a bit after Full Moon too and it was chilled when there was no parry’s going on. Pool, TV and other things to do. It was nice to look over the lake from my room too and we had our own balcony area which I’d recommend to get if you can. Good air-con in the room, bed were roomy and comfy. Will head back if I’m in time for Half Moon or another organises party.

I liked everything about the hostel. It's a nice and cozy place to stay.

Hideout is an excellent hostel to stay at. First, the location is amazing. It's a 3-minute walk to haad rin beach which is where the full moon festival takes place. From Haad Rin, you also have easy access to the Eden Party, whynaam beach, lost paradise and more. Just on location alone, this hostel provides such great value for money. The facilities in the hostel are very nice too. Everything feels very clean and comfortable. There's a pool table, airtable, kickers table and lots of board games. There's also an x-box which is free for all guests to use. During party nights like the full moon, the hostel provides free body paint and invites a DJ for a good pre-party. As you can imagine, this all contributes to a very social atmosphere at the hostel and you will leave having made a lot of new friends. The staff is very friendly and well-motivated. During my stay, I was happy to see the staff get some time off on a regular basis. They're also very honest and I felt comfortable leaving my things anywhere because nothing ever gets stolen here. It's very safe. Of course, it's better not to risk it, which is why the hostel provides lockers for free. Just remember to come with your own padlock. You can buy food/drinks from the bar/restaurant at the hostel. The food is very good and it's probably the most affordable in the entire Haad Rin area. I looked. Daniel, the owner is a very friendly guy, and he has his finger on the pulse of the island so if you need any recommendations or tips on things to do, just ask him and he'll give you the best advice.

The place was amazing, the staff was very nice and helpful. The common area is nice, it makes you feel "at home", and I really enjoyed chilling out on the sofas, playing games, and/or talking to the other guests. Pre-parties were organized at the hostel with very good techno/house music and free body painting before going to the full moon party/jungle experience/oxa beach party etc. However, it is to be mentionned that the pre-parties did not last all night long (until midnight approx.) and the hostel was very quiet at bed time. The food was also very good.

It wasn’t the hostels fault but after the Full Moon Party the hostel was empty, the whole island actually was empty.

Amazing social area with pool table, fooseball, ice jockey, boardgames, beanbags, lounge chairs & hammocks. Clean. 5min walk from Full Moon Party. Friendly staff. Comfortable beds.
