Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ThailandStunning beach, the location is a bit problematic for people who also want to travel because you are stuck on the far side of Phi Phi, you need a taxi boat and the prices are unfair. There was an incident where one of the employees booked us a boat at a certain price and after five minutes decided that the price was suddenly higher and all he had to say was sorry without explaining why the price had increased after we had already agreed on a price earlier. Apart from this incident, the staff was lovely and nice. It was suitable for a few nights but not more because it is far from everything and pay attention to the prices they charge because they are a monopoly. We did not do laundry there. The prices are unfair. We felt that they were taking advantage of the distance from everything. They are lucky to be in one of the most beautiful locations in the world, so at least we enjoyed it.

United Arab EmiratesI didn't like the breakfast. The omelet is cooked in some stinky oil or old butter. And the taste in my mouth all day long.
This is my second time vacationing here. Good value for money. Nice beach.

JapanOverall, we really enjoyed our stay. The staff was very friendly. Initially, we were placed in an adjacent room with slightly noisy neighbors. However, after speaking with the reception staff, where a very friendly man helped us, they kindly moved us to a private room. The breakfasts were quite tasty and varied. There weren’t many people. The only issue was occasional sewage smells in some areas—a major drawback. There were also many mosquitoes, especially in the restaurant. My husband got bitten badly on his leg. Overall, the hotel deserves a solid four stars.

ThailandStaff are good but they should have more training; how to answer information, how to prioritize guess needed, staff at restaurant should look and see around what guest want (they are talking with each other and don't see when guest called). But overalls are acceptable.

The beach is incredible. It has the advantage of not completely disappearing with the low tides like the neighbouring ones. Food is also quite good and a wide variety of options.

United KingdomOur room was very tired, didn’t look like it had been refurbished for 20+ years. There were gaps around the window that I had to seal with sticky plasters to prevent mosquitoes getting in. Other rooms appeared more modern. The staff were all very young and lacked the maturity to solve issues that arose.
Amazing location - best beach we have ever stayed at. Excellent guide (Deedo) took us on the speedboat trip around the islands that was truly memorable. Good breakfast

IrelandCleanliness. I’m not picky but even I found it dirty and below par for the euros spent
They were really helpful with booking boats to and from, directly, to the resort saving us on time spent traveling and we didn’t have to pay until checkout.

IsraelWe took the cheapest option of the room and it is a bit outdated, but for us, it was good value for money as we had some last minute discount.
The location is amazing, and totally worth the 25-30 min longtail boat travel to get to the hotel. We spent 3 days at this amazing location. The beach is big and amazing, with some nice cafes/restaurants (including the ones of the hotel), and different options for excursions to different places nearby. The infinity sunset pool is WOW, and the whole resort area feels like a village in nature. The staff was very friendly. Would recommend it to friends and family (but with another room choice.

United KingdomIn need of some modernisation in various areas across the resort. Some of the rooms appear to have been revamped with some still left to go. The restaurant food is nice but expensive. We had to use the hotel clinic and then take our daughter to hospital. The staff were helpful in organising the transport to Tonsi but this was very expensive and it felt like our situation was taken advantage of.
The hotel is in a stunning location - from the moment we arrived to the moment we left it felt like you were in paradise! The family room was 2 spacious interconnecting rooms and plenty of storage with large balconies.

United KingdomSome of the plug sockets in the room did not work. The food is pretty basic and naturally overpriced given it is hotel food and it doesn’t claim to be truly authentic but given the price you may hope it to be better. There are restaurants and convenience shops in the area that offer better options. But you’re not really coming to this hotel for authentic food, you’re coming for the beach.
Location is incredible. Beautiful and quiet beach with lots of loungers provided, being able to view both the sun set and sun rise from the hotel is fantastic. You can still get picked up from this area for private or group day trips to Phi Phi Leh and other islands either through get your guide or the hotel. The rooms are very nice and clean. Facilities are fine, nothing spectacular but perfectly reasonable. Breakfast was good.

IrelandThe room we were provided initially, the back door was broken and would get mosquito bites during the night. One night the dinner we got at Jimmy’s cafe, it was served cold to us.
The amenities were all very close by, never needed for anything and the swimming pools and beach were right outside your door

United KingdomIncident with a wet cleaning rag left on my clothes in the room and I felt they could have done more to apologise. And I didn’t feel like they had much autonomy to fix or understanding of how to respond. Sunset bar was great but staff seemed stressed. I didn’t use other cafes/restaurants/spas because everything else on the beach was lovely and much better prices. It was like they didn’t want ppl to eat in. When they refurb it would make sense to access outside shower not through the room …
It’s so beautiful. Room right in the beach was great. And off the shore snorkelling on the hotel stretch of beach which doesn’t have the tractors carrying cases going up and down

GermanyWe are a family of 4 with two kids and stayed in the family room. This is essentially just two regular rooms connected through a door. While we enjoyed plenty of space, we certainly would book a different room category the next time round. Our view was that of other buildings, not even having a garden view. Given that we spent just under 400 Euros a night, this is not the value for money one expects at such rates. These rooms are tucked away quite far on the western part of the hotel. The little houses however, whether in the vegetation or along the beach, looked much nicer and had a significantly more beautiful setting.
Incredible beach. Long, the clearest of clear waters, some fish. Bars available, conveniently along the beach and lots of pools especially for the kids. The breakfast is great as well, staff are very helpful in organizing transfers and day trips. The sunsets at the sunset bar and pool area are incredible.
