I loved this hostel! The staff was super nice, the breakfast was amazing and everything was really clean. They rent out motorbikes for a very reasonable price as well. Would totally recommend!

As a whole the accomodation is dated and lacking in the fundamental aspects that make a hostel good. The beds are hard and the place definitely needs some TLC, the beds have chipped paint and the aesthetic leaves a lot to be desired. The bedrooms are hot with no fans, only AC that is ONLY available between 4pm and 10am. The "fancy" smart door locks are noisy which wakes you up when they open and close. There is nowhere to store your luggage in the room so it just sits on the floor in a narrow passage. Unfortunately based on a terrible nights sleep and the fact that there was a very sick traveller, that was coughing all over the dorm, we decide to forfeit the rest of our booking and found alternative accomodation. When checking out at the end of our originally planned stay the woman at reception treated us in an extremely hostile manner for sleeping elsewhere. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!

Breakfast was excellent! They give you the option of choosing the method of cooking for your eggs. A bonus is the free popcorn all day. Showers were warm and had good pressure.

Breakfast hot and fresh! Balanced and you decide how you want your eggs! Beach only a few minutes away by foot. Bed was ample and comfortable. Supper prices are reasonable to inexpensive compared to other hostels.

Cleaning the bathroom very often, Stacy bunk, so many free facilities available, superb breakfast, snorkel, beach mat, beach balls, and even bicycles! And I love there is guitars as well!

Have been traveling last 10 years almost continuously, and never seen hotel this comfortable, this clean, this thoughtful and with this much service … my four day plan was extended to three weeks and lots of people do the same and we all became like a family!

Very pleased and would definitely stay again :)

The location was near to "long beach" so easy to access the sea. The hostel was always active with people hanging out, coming and going...so it is super easy to meet fellow travelers :) The curtains on the beds were REALLY great and gave a true sense of privacy. Moreover, the beds themselves, were quite big and totally comfy. Wifi was always fast and stable (we were streaming series). My personal favorite thing was the food served by the hostel. Breakfast is, as other comments mentioned, great! Fresh eggs and fruit. But you can also order food until 9pm, and not only was it a GREAT price, it was very tasty (the green curry chicken and rice...had it like 4 times). No mosquito bites in our 3 days at Hub of Joys!!

I loved every minute of my stay in hub of joys and wanted to extend for many days but unfortunately had to move to my next destination. The staff were kind and friendly, the facilities were always kept clean and the included breakfast was amazing. Thank you so much.

Beds were great, breakfast was fantastic. The free popcorn all day was a nice touch. They also organize some amazing tours for you. Close to everything also.

It's female oriented. I had issues with two guests in the bunk above, and the woman on the front desk found it funny that they treated me without any dignity or respect. She did nothing to recitify the undignified behavior of the female guest in the bunk above. If it was guys and a woman complaining, then im sure it would have been a different reaction. I got the flu here as the woman on the front desk was sick and not taking any precautions to protect her guests, i.e., face mask or sanitizing her hands. The bathrooms are often dirty. Stay somewhere else, guys, where they have respect.

The room had a very weird smell and there were a lot of mosquitoes in the bathroom as well.

Free popcorn and complimentary breakfast are a plus. The lady at the reception is very nice and helpful.

The only downside for me is the shower is a bit small and it could be damp sometimes.

The hostel location is very strategic, just like 3 minutes to the nice beach. There are plenty of nice restaurants nearby. The inclusive breakfast was beyond my expextation for the bed price I paid. The bed was very clean and comfy with curtain. The electric door lock was safe. The staff were super friendly and helpful with your inquiries. It's a social hostel but not loud with party. Highly recommended.
