It isn't the newest of hostel. The bedroom is excellent, the common room is great, but the shower and toilet are really old. They are as clean as can be, but if you like clean, this might not be the hostel for you.

Great atmosphere! People were really sociable and from all walks of life. It isn't a party hostel so at night you can just play some games or go to bed, or whatever. Lovely beach nearby (very relaxed & not too busy).

Nothing - can't fault it.

Loved this hostel! Was a bit unsure as its been many years since I stayed in a dorm, but this was a great experience. The dorms are spacious and beds are really comfy, bigger than standard with a privacy curtain. The aircon made it comfortable to sleep and it was lovely & clean. The breakfast is amazing, fruit plate, toast, mini cakes & choice of egg plus tea,coffee & juice. Located just a 5 min walk to the beach, everyone was respectful and friendly. As a solo female traveller no longer in her 20's, I can't recommend this place enough!!

Super nice hostel. It’s a great place to meet people. The staff is super friendly and welcoming and they serve a great free breakfast in the morning. Love the little details like a drink with your checkin and popcorn all day long.

No lockers for backpacks. Everything else is perfect.

Location is great, rooms are clean and safe, there is a small locker outside the rooms. Bathrooms and showers clean. The staff helps with everything you might need. There is really good free breakfast and coffee, tea, cookies and stuff for free all day. They sell food which is delicious and very reasonably priced! Everything was amazing!

There was only one toilet and shower on the floor I was on. I had to queue for the toilet quite often. I found it very hot/humid in the stair/bathroom/shower areas. The air con is switched off from 10am until 4pm (which seems to be pretty standard in the area). There are fans on in the common areas during this time but not in the dorms so it's really not an option to enter the dorms during this time. There was no locker in the room for your stuff so sometimes felt bags could be in the way.

Staff were absolutely fantastic and so helpful. The food was brilliant. The hostel is set up really well for socialising. The beds have curtains and have a good amount of space for storing some of your stuff.

Couldn't fault it

Best hostel I've stayed in so far. Tea and a snack on arrival. The rooms are nice and clean and as social or private as you would like. Staff are amazing and can help with anything, I booked scooters and my onward travel through them. The free breakfast is an absolute winner - toast and banana bread, fruit and choice of egg. Short walk to the beach. Be sure to head to Aleena's across the road for cake in the evening! Rooms are secure with keycard locks. There is a great social vibe to this place too.

it was very clean and cozy, the free breakfast and snacks were fantastic and the staff were excellent and very friendly! We booked extra nights because we liked it so much. they also have a good dinner menu and are very helpful with rentals and laundry.

overall very run down, room was dirty, bedding had stains all over it. Paint was flaking off the bed and ceiling. nowhere to store your luggage just a *tiny* locker provided that would fit your phone in. There was an awful smell in the corridors like stale urine/drains. needs a good kick of paint and a good clean.

the 2 things we liked: the breakfast which was free, you get fresh fruit and your choice of eggs. You can also have unlimited toast, banana bread, tea, coffee and juice. the location, close to the beach, lots of restaurants on the doorstep.

One of the BEST hostels I’ve stayed at in Thailand! It’s very clean, beds are comfy and the social area is a great size. They even have Netflix which is perfect for rainy days! The complimentary breakfast is such good value for money - eggs cooked to order, a fruit plate per person, toast, tea/coffee/juice, and small cakes (banana muffin is a must try)! What makes this hostel so amazing though, is the incredibly hardworking staff there from 7am-11pm - Ra, Tone and Jenny! Ra is front of house and really puts her heart into making your stay an amazing time. Biscuits and drink on arrival, advice on what to do/see on the island, and just overall bringing a smile each and everyday. I would recommend this hostel to anyone staying in Koh Lanta!!!

Credit card machine "not working." Bring a LOT of baht for tours etc or find peace with outrageous fees at nearby ATMs. Facilities could benefit from more drying racks for guest clothes and towels. No outdoor space for drying, and beach/island destination generates a lot of wet belongings. One small rack per floor, shared by multiple dorms, isn't enough.

Incredible staff- friendly, hardworking, helped everyone with bookings for tours, scooter rental, and onward travel. Outstanding breakfast. Thank you for a great stay!

The people who work there are super nice! They help wherever they can and they make you feel like home. There is all day free coffee, tea, water and snacks. It is a hostel to meet amazing new people. This was my second time at this hostel after four years and I will definitely come again next time.

Everyone was sick in the hostel, coughing and sneezing all night and on the breakfast food. We checked out early to save ourselves getting sick. Also everything is concrete and smells like sweat. Bathroom is flooded with water and feels dirty. Rating was very high and didn't meet expectations. No room for luggage so those are on the bed with you

Hostel is divided into two buildings, one of them where I stayed is bit older so have some issues, not good ventilation in common areas and bathrooms. Electronic system to open doors is quite noisy so can be disturbing for light sleepers/if next to the door.

Above all, the customer service I got here! The couple who runs the place are two of nicest and most helpful people I've met in Thailand, they work super hard and still do above maximum to make their guests happy and enjoy their stay! Good location close to very nice and calm beach, comfortable rooms (curtains, individual lights). Great breakfast and even perks like free popcorn :)

This was my favourite hostel in my 3 months travelling SE Asia. The people running ut are so nice and kind and extremely helpful with booking trips. There is free coffee, tea and popcorn which was a real treat and a 3 course breakfast in the morning was outstanding! There is a great common room so you will never be alone and the dorms are very private with curtains around the bed, all facilities were very clean also. 10/10 - the only hostel to stay on Koh Lanta!
