Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomHard bed but some like a firm bed just not for me, also pool area was disappointing as sunbeds are not outside as such - missed this before booking although it’s clear on the pictures of the hotel

United KingdomLocation is poor, very misleading distances. As the crow flies, looks good, using the roads, not so good. We were not aware of the check in next door until arrival which was confusing and awkward. No staff in the actual hotel.
Breakfast was basic, in the next door hotel. Hotel had the basics but the main facilities were in the adjoining hotel

United KingdomGap around the door. Luckily, our neighbours weren't too noisy. Loud AC Shower cold and faulty shower head Uphill walk from the centre of Ao Nang. Not too much of a problem for us, but maybe for others. £60 a night seems expensive for what you get.
Clean, comfortable enough room Distant sea view 15 minute walk to shops, bars, markets etc

United KingdomIf you want any messages answered, do not message this property or ring them, you won't receive an answer. You collect your keys from the hotel next door. If you go to immigration to extend your stay, it is the hotel next door where you're recorded to be. Not the hotel you're in. Knowing this would have saved me a lot of time and hassle. The swimming pool is a narrow rectangle next to the reception of the other hotel. You are close to the beach, though, so this isn't too bad.
Spacious clean room with a great view. Wonderful location. Great breakfast. I stayed for a month.

United KingdomNo hot water. It was not yet hot enough to be wanting cold showers but that’s what I got. The hot water did not work at any stage.
Property is in a great location a short walk to the strip and beach. Has great restaurants very close by so if you are staying in Ao Nang it’s great. Bed is also great too.

United KingdomYou have to check in at a separate hotel nearby, which is also where the pool is. The pool is right by reception and the sun barely reaches it. My balcony had a bit of a depressing view of a wall and a dingy alleyway. The walls are paper thin so you can hear any noisy neighbours in the building or the street. Also the location is a bit frustrating as the nearest 7/11 or beach is a bit of a walk away.
The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. As someone who’s been staying in hostels for a month, I found it comfortable and worth the cheap price.

JerseyPool is in the reception area and no space to sunbathe in sun as sun-loungers are in the covered area. Location says its close to town but its further away than it actually is. When i used the address on bookings.com it took me to the bottom of heel and the hotel is about 10/15 minutes further up the heel so didnt appreciate location being wrong and being told hotel is closer to town than it actually is.

ItalyThe room can be quite noisy if you are unlucky and have young people around you. Some nights there were guests drinking and playing music until 1 or 2 am. The walls are all paper thin so if someone makes noise you will hear everything. The first night i was woken up at 7.30 by lound music coming from the street that stopped only at 9.30. The following days it didn't happen, but everything is so random and it's just luck if you have a quiet night. But yeah the hotel is cheap. Finally there is a deposit of 4000 bhat or your passport, that was not really nice.
The position was ok, i could reach everywhere easily with a scooter. If you don't want to drive then everything is 10/20 minutes away downhill (but uphill going back to your room). It was cheap. If you are lucky you get the room with a view but that is also facing on the street. If you get the rooms on the right side which ALL face a wall, it's actually a bit quieter. Rooms was quite new so that added a bit of value. Oh and the elevator now works as i read in the past you had to do the stairs with your suitcase, so that's relieving.

United KingdomThe hotel itself is owned by another hotel in a building behind and this is where you have to check in (be warned if you have super heavy bags it’s a fairly steep hill!) There was a smell of sewage for most of our stay in the bathroom and in the lobby/restaurant/pool area. The pool was also basically in the restaurant and completely in the shade with a building the other side so we didn’t feel comfortable relaxing in swimwear by the pool.
The room was overall comfortable and clean. Housekeeping changed bedding and provided fresh towels but did not actually clean the room. Good value for money, close to the main strip as well as restaurants and bars (a great Goan/Indian restaurant about a minute down the hill!)
