the aircon didn't really reach to the top bunker bed so a bit hot that night I could hear loud locals talking that early morning. my only sleep in day

Air con didn’t reach the double beds in private rooms but other than that the room was very cool.

Good location, staff were very friendly and helpful. All communal areas were clean and cool. Decent space for eating. Right next to Phaya Thai skytrain which is well linked to the centre and Airport

Got transferred to another hotel that they also managed, was notified early which is good. Got transferred to a 4flr hostel with no elevator. Not good for heavy packers which I had brought a big heavy luggage (32kg). Though they offered to leave the luggage on the lobby which my friend chose but i chose to carry it upstairs to the 4th flr

Near the train which we needed to get to the airport link early. Good for light travelers. Staff is accommodating. Room is good, got hot water, and plenty of power sockets to plug gadgets with.

On my last night i saw a big cockroach in the toilet - and I’m really glad it was my last night that i saw that ha ha ha

The best thing about In a Box is that it’s run by two competent and polite young women who are quiet and friendly and helpful. The place is very conveniently located near phaya thai station and you can easily get to know the train commute from this point. If you like a very quiet place far away from all noise then this is the place for you - guests don’t interact much with each other though and tend to keep to themselves; which is not a bad thing. Everyone seems to be in transit staying for a night or two. The beds are cozy and they are happy to provide extra blankets and pillows - and laundry is also pretty cheap i think. Breakfast is very simple (cornflakes w/cold milk + toast with butter and jam packets + coffee tea) and is the same every day. You can say this place is convenient, not cultural. Also, if you plan on partying a lot, this is not the place for you

the hostel doesn’t have an elevator so you need someone strong to help with bringing your luggage to the room, the mattress and pillow could be softer and they might have to improve on the comforter or invest in a thicker blanket

the location was excellent ! getting to the hostel from the airport was very easy, 1 rail link and a short walk. the staff were lovely and helpful! many food stalls nearby and a 7/11 down the street made it super convenient to grab stuff last minute!

Stairs quite steep so should very be careful when use them plus there’ s no blind or curtain for the bunk beds. 😅

- Best customer service , They're friendly, warmly and patient. - nearly BTS station ,shopping mall and markets. We can go anywhere and airport. (Good location) - I really like this decoration. Very good place in Bangkok - especially if you`re in transit to BK main airport. It`s only 5 minutes away from direct train to the airport (about 30 minute ride, first one at 5.30 in the morning). In a Box Hostel is a very cozy place, located in one of the back-alleys, 20 meters from the main street. It`s very clean and stuff is really helpful! 15 minute walk to MBK Center, a lot of shops nearby. Always staying there when in Bagkok :-)

- The plants on the tiny balcony were dead (not a big deal but it would look better with some). Also there was a cigarette in the pot while a sign said "do not smoke here". - The mezzanine was too hot and the bottom bed too cold but that's the law of physics right ? :-)

- you leave your shoes outside, I know this is part of the thai culture, it's just that I'm not used to it - no one manning the reception from 10pm till 9am

- Located literally just next to Phaya Thai station - Smooth check-in and the receptionist spoke good English - Cheap laundry service - Free breakfast - Fast internet - comfortable bed - It doesn't have a super social vibe, which is actually a plus for me because I don't like noisy hostels

a little old equipment but it s not a problem, no curtain for the bed but it s ok. no discount if you extend your stay straight with them but price is ok regarding very good quality breakfast.

nice discret staff, good location quiet. very clean towel, blanquet, sheet. champoo and soap have a nice amazing smell. good free breakfast, good bread, real butter, nice cafe and fresh milk, have also muesli etc.. free hot and cold machine with modern machine.Have a fridge.

The room for couples is pretty great. It is directly at the phaya Thai Station, so it's perfect to get here quickly with the train after a long flight. Definitely more of an introvert hostel. Very calm, very chilled. But we loved that! Great way to start our trip!
