The hostel was perfectly located, next to the sairee beach and a lot of diving centers. During the evening/ night it got a bit loud, because a lot of bars are near the hostel (I just used earplugs and was perfectly fine).

Location is great, very central and close to everything (Sairee beach, shops, food etc) but that comes with a little price of it being noisy at night from people on the street and bars.

Everything was really great - staff are nice, I felt safe and comfortable, room was clean. You can ask staff to sort out laundry for you as well. The restaurant under the hostel (indie cafe) is underrated - the Burmese curries are so good!

The dorm I was in was quite small and you can’t bring your bag in which was inconvenient, especially being on a top bunk. The floors were dirty and you couldn’t wear your shoes in so the bed got sandy from the beach

The cleanliness of our room was mediocre (e.g. spots on our linen and bad smell coming from the drain. Due to surrounding bars it got really loud at night even past 11 pm.

The location was great: close to the beach and to several stores, restaurants and bars. Our private room was well equipped and provided everything we needed. The rooftop space was nice to relax and enjoy the view!

It’s on a busy street near a few clubs/bars so you can hear thumping music until the early hours. Not an issue if you want to be out partying but not great if you want a good night sleep.

There are bars behind and in front of the hostel. So be prepared for it to be very loud at night. The sheets and bathroom could have been cleaner. The light fixtures were lose.

Had a small single room with bathroom. It’s small but enough for one person that needs a little privacy but still want the benefits of a hostel. Very central, lots of bars, restaurants, dive school, and the beach within 1 minute walk.

The area is pretty lively (a mini Khao San Road!?) so great if you want to in the thick of it but not so much if you want a chilled peaceful space. That said, the rooms are pretty quiet once the door’s closed… All in all, a solid, fun hostel for the younger traveller.

The rooms / bunks are a great design. You feel really cocooned-in when you’re in bed. There are charging points and cubby holes for sleeping things. Bags are stored in lockers outside the room. The roof terrace is pretty cool, and / but overlooks a busy street with boisterous bars. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Totally my own fault but didn’t realise it’s on a very busy street with music blasting until the early hours! Not great if you’re looking for an early sleep, also the single person room is on the first floor so all the party goers in the dorms have to walk past your room, can be a bit disruptive

Air con weren't working properly in the room so it got extremely hot in the night. This was fixed for the final night. Rooms were really dark so hard getting ready properly. Had to climb a lot of stairs to reach room and then more to rooftop and showers. Not really a sociable hostel 1000 baht key deposit

You only had a locker for your stuff, you couldn’t take your bag in the room, so sometimes it was a bit annoying to get your things together. It was okay clean, but it is a hostel at the beach, so there will always be sand and a bit of dirt everywhere, but it was totally fine

The location was perfect, basically at the beach, in the middle of the night life, but still quiet in the rooms. You had everything you need and also a very cute rooftop place to chill

As much as we loved the rooftop it could do with some lighting in the evening. Overall our stay was good, and we have recommended it to friends coming to Koh Tao in the future. However, our room had patches of damp, there were cracks in the walls and the toilet had a strong odour coming from the drains. Make sure to bring ear plugs as it can get quite loud at night from the bars on the road.

We loved the rooftop terrace, had comfy bean bags and a great sun trap in the afternoons and the location was perfect

The air conditioning was too cold and the remote wasn’t in the room so we had to go to the reception every time we wanted to change the temperature. The staff entered to clean the room even when we were there which bothered me.

The dorm rooms were very dark no ceiling lights only the lights in the bunks. To get to the dorms you have to climb 3 flights of stairs and another flight to get to the showers, staff don’t help to show you where your room and everything else is. There were signs to say no backpacks in the room which just made it harder to get things out that you might need from the lockers. Also weren’t allowed to wear shoes in the dorm rooms so that meant sand was being walked in and then into the beds. A few bugs here and there but nothing to be put off of. And for the beds they only provide you with a thin blanket so it can get cold at night and there’s no way to turn the aircon off. I also found that no one was sociable and the hostel could have put on activities etc to help this problem out and stop their reputation for being unsociable.

The property has a good location if you want to party but also a very short walk to the beach. The hostel has a sitting area on the top floor which was very nice.

There was a cockroach in my room!!!!! Blinds were broken so couldn’t raise them up when had no power, they came to “fix” it but only wrapped the chord around for a small and temporary fix, the room and bathroom was a little small, and was very loud due to location. Overall I think I should’ve been a lot cheaper for what it was

You have to climb a minimum of 2 flights of stairs to even get to the rooms and then climb another 2 for showers/ toilets Lost my key and was charged £7 even though it’s just a piece of paper and I didn’t actually lose it, it was stolen from my bed during the night

Not a lot of space in the rooms and no lights other than the ones in the beds which makes it difficult to see. Ladder was difficult to climb on the top bunk as we were at the end of the room.

Very very loud next to bar. If you want sleep. Don’t book here. Music stopped at maybe 2am ish maybe later on Monday/tuesday night. Doof, doof, doof all night. Common area / eating space was extremely warm
