Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomNo outlets by the bed, small room with no view, uncomfortable mattress, poor wifi. Receptionist tried to sell us tour for 400b more than what we paid for at a travel desk down the lane.
Good location and decent price for Phi Phi.

New Zealandthe owner was so incredibly kind and always made sure to check in on us and make sure everything was going okay. She gave us lots of amazing recommendations of places to eat and things to do. The location couldn’t have been better, the accomodation is very central and 2 minutes from the port where the ferry drops you off. Right below is a night market with incredible food and a 7 minute walk to the beach she recommend us. The room had great soundproofing as we didn’t hear our neighbours once. We had one issue with our air conditioning leaking but she made sure to get it fixed right away. Overall an amazing experience and definitely a place we recommend.

New ZealandA kettle in room would be nice to save having to fetch coffee every morning. Also housekeeping is only every 2 days.
A great little hotel in the best location. Clean and comfortable, good aircon and shower, comfy bed. Staff are lovely with lots of useful information given when you check in.

IrelandThe place was great and right in the centre of town. Not too close to all party places so you would not hear any noise. For a one star hotel this was a great experience. My tour lasted longer than expected and I was late for check in. Juni stayed a bit longer to welcome me anyway! She was very friendly but also respectful at the same time! Real asset to this hotel! Check out super easy and good memories!

TurkeyWe got the ground floor room, there was a bit of a damp smell but the aircon worked well. the smell didn’t really bother us.
Juni the host was fantastic..she went an extra mile every time we asked for something! The room is quite basic but comfortable and clean. the hotel location is in the middle of everything yet very quiet and away from the loud music on the beach.

TurkeyFirst, i hate the idea of taking off shoes to entrance. sweaty and sandy feet. I also dont like the idea of non-smoking at the balcony! Secondly, there is a sign that says keep quiet while the bathroom door is so noisy. Wi-fi is awful. It slowly works in the morning and cuts off at night The room is very very small, you can't walk around the bed. There is no soap and hand towel in the bathroom, you have to dry your face with a dirty bath towel. I will write a little about cleaning. I saw a big spider in the bathroom the first night, and my girlfriend couldn't sleep because of fear. We arrived at the hotel at 15:30 on the second evening, exhausted and dirty. She said that the room had not been cleaned yet and told us to come after 1 hour! we had to stay outside dirty and sweaty. Please note that the room has no refrigerator and hairdryer. it's my fault i overlooked these. I'm writing so you don't miss it, because what you're looking for is a hotel, not a hostel. You can think of this hotel as a hostel with a private bathroom, but it costs $50 per night. I liked that the hotel was in the center, the rest was a real disappointment for me. The reason I gave the hotel 4 out of 10 is just because of its location. I know very well which hotel I will not stay in when I come to phi phi island again.
I just liked the location otherwise the hotel did not value for money

This was my best stay in Thailand. Junie who is the face of this hotel was over the top in making us feel welcome, giving us a map on Phi Phi, tleeing us recommendations and always checking in to see if everything was ok. She treats her job like she owns the place and takes pride in here job. I also want to do a shout out to the wonderful cleaners for high standards of cleaning the room. Well Done!🙌 location was central and very quite.

United KingdomFirst of all, Juni is so welcoming and happy to help with anything you need. She helped me with ferry tickets and tours which can be booked through the hotel, super easy. Rooms are reasonably sized and very clean with all necessities. Location is great, right in the centre of the island with many restaurants, bars, tour shops and mini markets all within a short distance of walking. Beach is also nearby but it's worth to trek to Long Beach.

The location is perfec, 5 min from the Pier and 10 from the party zone which is far enough not to be disturbed by the music. June, the manager, is the most helpful, friendly and kind person ever! Thanks for everything!

AustraliaJunie was an amazing host who made us feel so welcome! I broke my foot on NYE and she was so concerned for me and made sure to regularly check in with my partner to see if I was doing okay. She also provided us with extra pillows so I could elevate my foot, and helped me up and down the hotel stairs as required. She even organised a trolly to wheel me to the ferry as I could not walk (as there are no cars on the island). Junie is a beautiful soul who genially cares so much for her guests. Will be staying here next time we visit Phi Phi!!
